I doubt he'll take less money, especially since their are alot of teams with cap space this summer. And once LeBron is signs, then Rudy become the hottest wing on the market, and a couple of teams will be willing to offer him more than the $10 million per year that the Grizzles offer him before the season.

I guess I have lost some faith in the super athletic players. I just want a guy with passion for the game that plays hard and has great fundamentals.

 

When was the last time we had a great SF anyway? Hill was always hurt, Tmac played the 2 and Barnes is awful on offense. 3D wasn't all that spectacular either.

If the Knicks miss out on James, I could definitely see going after Gay. But I doubt it would be a max contract, though.

rudy has the build to be good on D. Stan can teach that. He taught lewis to play good D on KG

Like most gifted athletes in this league I question Gay's mindset. When I have gotten the opportunity to see him play he reminds me of Lewis. Very passive.

the system works. if it didn't we wouldn't go this far two consecutive years.

 

Our problem is we eventually reach a team that is amazing defensively on dwight and can stay on our shooters. We need a guy who can create his own shot.

So, so far the best solutions I've heard:

 

1) Get a guy that can create a shot off the dribble

 

2) Howard must evolve his post-play.

 

1 sounds more likely.. or does it?
