Secretly Space Jesus 670 Report post Posted March 7, 2010 They called it offensive interference/goaltending. That was a ghastly call, and no, by rule that couldn't have actually been goaltending. In order for a goaltend to occur, the ball must be judged as being able to score. Since you can't score off an inbounds like that, there is no way that should've been goaltending. Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted March 7, 2010 i figured thats what they called. that was an epic screw up by the officials during a close game. another one i didn't quite catch, how can the officials just stop play when nelson had the ball and barnes threw the huge screen on fisher? Drew Skyy 1 Report post Posted March 7, 2010 Actually the officiating was terrible. Jeff and the other announcers were conatntly saying, "What are the officials doing out there?? What are they calling that for?? That's not a foul"! The majority of their complaints were the calls against Dwight and our players. For once the media was seeing wht we have been.
