anyone thinks when Otis wakes up in the morning, the first words out of his mouth are "I like this team"? Some ppl thank God, say a prayer, talk to their spouse; but Otis, Otis has his daily ritual..."I like this team".

Pretty close. He's practicing so he "stays on message" while talking to reporters.

 

He figures if he says the same thing all the time, he won't mess up and actually say what he's thinking.

 

Stan would not be good at this.
