lets trade our TPE for Courtney Lee. Make it happen Otis!

i don't think the nets are looking to save money. especially a player on a rookie contract.

with the money they have saved right now, i thought they needed to shred some more money to be able to sign two max contracts like the knicks.

so if Toronto is trying to acquire another 1st, as well as trying to shed a little, if Otis doesn't see anything he likes, would a TPE+1st for Jarrett Jack+cash be a viable/decent option?

Jack won't blow you away, but I think he's a solid option for Orlando...idk, spit balling...

IMHO, they'd trade Jack to us for just the TPE. Don't think we'd want that, though, given his salary.

he'd be a good fit here, $5 million/year is a bit steep for a backup point

Lets get lebron

I think it's possible to get lebron.

Why should Lebron sign with orl? that's simple... Howard, Lewis, Nelson and Van Gundy.

Howard is the best big in the league and he will dominate that position for the next decade or so. He will command double team and he will collect almost all the reboounds. He is the top 5 player in the league and he doesnt need the ball in his hand all the time.

Rashard is one the best shooter in the league. He is very versatile and can score inside and outside. Nobody dare to leave him open. With Lewis deadly shooting accuracy and howard's ability to collect rebound, lebron will be free to shoot, penetrate and do whatever his he wants/needs to do to score.

Nelson is one of the young point guard in the league, along with rondo, who can be only improve from now. He has the leadership skill and is a deadly shooter. he may need to work on his passing skill but lebron can play point guard position.

Van Gundy is one the top coach in the league. He is not afraid to call his players out. Lebron needs to be with a coach who will get on his face when it is needed.

How can we get Lebron?

orl currently can't sign him straight up due to lack of cap space. We can trade Carter and Gortat for lebron.

Say whatever you want about carter but he is still an all star who can score at will. he still can amaze people here and there. With lebron gone, the cavs will see a dramatic drop in attendance and carter will bring them back. gortat is a legitimate center who can score, defend and rebound. Cavs need a decent center since shaq is most likely done and big Z is no longer the same.

HOward, lewis and nelson is a nightmare for the opposing teams. If we get lebron, who are they going to double team? they have pick their poison.

overall, orland is a great city with the state of the art stadium. If lebron is serious about winning multiple titles then he should sign with orl. Also, with lebron signing, there will be a good rivalry with the miami heats and it will generate plenty of media attention (lebron loves media attention).

You're an idiot. This will never happen, and Carter is done. Cleveland is not going to take our trash for the best player on the planet. Get real.

you are a big joker. carter sill have the ability to score 20 points per game. he is still very talented although i think he only have 2 or 3 good seasons left. he is a veteran who know how to play the game.

Who are you, and where did you come from? Carter is trash. Get over it. We're stuck with him until the trade deadline at the earliest. We'd be lucky to get someone like Salmons for his expiring.
