Putting a good team together with all the cap and trade rules makes it very difficult. Then the unknowns such as injuries can screw everything up. With most of the teams in the NBA not investing near as much as the Magic in putting together a team to have a great chance to win it all we should have little faith that Otis and management know a little more than most of us.
