Emory889 353 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 I have no idea why anyone would think that Shaq would be willing to mentor Dwight. The guy has never been willing to take a step out of the limelight in his life. I thought he had already proven that this year.
bballbabe 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 No, i don't think Shaq wants to come back to Orlando to play. I heard the interview and saw him on SC the next day and all he was talking about was Lebron. When questioned about the Lakers series, he answered that he had friends on both teams still, and then started talking about how good Bron was and on and on. I think he is lobbying to try and get on that team. He said something about bringing his career full circle, and i took that to mean that he came in as #1 and made an impact, and that's how he wants to leave...#1 (in his mind) as a part of a championship team, and making an impact. It makes sense. It looked like it broke Shaq's heart when the Cavs trade fell through.
