The OFFICIAL Retire Nick's Jersey before the move to the new arena thread!!!

Look lets consolidate all the retire Nick's jersey here. It is the only way to leave the old arena and bring a piece of the old one to the new one. The franchise needs to understand retiring a players jersey is just as much for the fans as it is for the player.

 

We may not have a long and storied history YET, but we did have Nick and he is the all time leading scorer. He is the man known for "The Steal". The only blemish on his record is probably his Free Throws in the finals. But the thing is if it was not for "The Steal" the finals may have never happened.

 

So come on Magic fans let ownership know this is what we want before we leave the old arena. That old arena holds a lot of dear memories to many Magic fans when it is gone the new one will be the crown jewel in the NBA, but we need a part of that history to be officially retires and brought to the new arena. Waiting and retiring it after the old arena shuts down would not be right. It needs to be done on the home court where he played. This is an important task we Magic fans need to rally around. United we can get it done!!!

On opening night we make Nick honorary captian and wear throwbacks.
