ManuGinobili 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2008 I know him, he came off the bench for Arroyo in PR national team, right?
angelitus 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 yes...and sometimes the PR coach put both players to play at the same time to spark the offense.
Arroyo fan 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 And started along with JKidd yesterday, waaaaaaat! Oh boy JJ is being amazing this past week and continues to wow the audience in Dallas and all over the NBA. Yesterday in one play this lil guy makes a spin move into the paint, change hands with the ball, and throw the ball behind his back and end up in a reverse layup. That
davcivic 11 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 Video?!! I saw the box score and he had 18 pts 4 assists, and started... That's a weird combo though. They had JKidd as the PG and JJ Barea as the SG...Barea is listed as 6 feet tall, but that's just them being nice to the guy. He might be 5'-10" and small. I am glad he is getting a chance and is working out... What are the chances we can trade for him? Let's start the get the other JJ to orlando movement!!!! We can trade JJ for JJ. angelitus 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 what a great game for Barea. For the record, he is 5'11. JJ for JJ? lol....Dallas isn't crazy. haha
davcivic 11 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 Yeah man, but the NBA lists him as 6'-0"...Just like Jameer... Come on...JJ for JJ is genious, maybe we can offer Cuban some sort of deal that would help him on that case he has coming...I have a get our of jail card from monopoly he might want
KLR 5 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 The reason they can start him is because Kidd is a big PG and he defends the bigger guard. It still weird starting a 5...something guy at SG, but they got away with it. Actually it was quite nice. More importantly than the start he was there, as he has been the last couple of days, with the starting lineup trying to close out games in the 4th quarter. To me thats very telling on how they feel about him.
davcivic 11 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 Definately, being a closer means the coaching staff, the team and your team mates trust you and know you will do a good job to win it. Its satisfying to see a guy that has worked hard overcome his shortcommings(no pun intended) and show he can play
Arroyo fan 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 JJ will stay in Dallas at least until his contract ends. Mark Cuban is in love for now, and we all how Mark is when in love. Incredible thing is...been 5-11 at one point defends Bell, Diaw, Nash...and even box out Amare for a rebound. His confidence is so high, he is doing all.
