BLUEHEART 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 quote: Originally posted by magicfreak#1:Jameer does a good enough job as playmaker, certainly better than Turk, Why does everybody assume Turk is asked to be a ,Point Forward, Turk is a turnover machine, and takes stupid, out of game plan shots, not the guy anyone would want as a distributor, however he does make some of the flashy plays he always attempts, they are poor % shots, and passes, and it is no surprise he can't be consistent when constantly making low % plays, luck only gets you so far. Turk needs to follow the game plan, and get D12 the ball, or get the hill out of town. believe me if he ddint follow the game plan in memphis game he would like to shoot the ball when 3.9 seconds left. and you know sometimes u have to support your team when they are not winning, true fans do.. magicfreak#1 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Man I've been a fan since 89, that's crazy talk. I am just pointing out Turk is the weakest link on the starting line up, and continues to have a basketball IQ of negative 90000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. I can't stand him a running the offense, or even thinking he should. He would be a very good 6th man for us, but needs to learn what a good shot is, and stop trying to be so flashy. Skywise316 211 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 I'm starting to think we (as in SVG) have it all backwards. I believe Jameer should be the playmaker in the half court, while Hedo should be the playmaker in the fast break. Seems like Hedo plays better when he doesn't have time to think about what happens next, if that makes any sense.
Drain-O 369 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Here is a crazy idea. If you are going to play in the half-court why not dump into Dwight say every time down the floor. He is probably the one of the best if not the best player in the league in sealing off his man and getting position. Guys like Marc Gasol would wear themselves out if he got the ball enough. You might not agree but he could be our most effective and is our most efficient scorer. He is becoming alot better at passing out of double teams and if he is going to pick up fouls late in the game let him work through it. You do not know if he will miss free throws down the stretch if you do not let him try. Im tired of watching the ball swing around the perimeter without Dwight touching it. There really is no logical excuse for that. Work inside out.
