The problem with Hollinger's fluke rule is it apparently allows for his comparison to rely upon a negative anomoly as much as it does a positive one. Turkoglu had PER stats of 16.06 in 2004, 16.80 in 2005, 14.26 in 2006, and then 17.66 last year.

 

I guess because Turk turned 28 last year, that qualifies him for the fluke rule. But IMO, his two previous seasons of high marks should set the standard for comparison, not his single mediocre season (where G Hill killed his game) sandwiched among three where he scored high marks.

Hedo is a good player, any coaches in nba ever wathc how he play on national team before, only Van Gundy let him play like that so he better effective. I could't see the Memphis match i check the stats right now, Hedo 18pts 9rebs 7asts this don't look like fluke.
