They can have Afflalo for cap relief.

82games.com has a nice chart comparing offensive PER to defensive PER by position at the link below. 15 is considered average, and the only two positions offensively we have above average are the 4 and 5. Defensively, the only position we hold the opposition below the league average is the 2. If you look at net production, we are negative at every position. PG is worst at -4.1, and center is second worst at -3.3. http://www.82games.c...13/1213ORL5.HTM

There goes my dream of drafting Zeller and starting them together. It'd be a block party every night.

Harris and Vucevic don't work together at the 4 and 5, at least on the defensive end.

Looks like he better add his own name to the list of players no one wants.

I was living in Houston when he went to school there. I always thought he was one of the most underrated players, probably because he played the same time as Jordan.

The bigs we have aren't a good fit with each other. If Vuch is the center for the future, we need someone like Noel next to him.

Not a terrible deal since it clears 2014 cap space, but I'm not convinced Bledsoe is the answer at pg. I rate Harkless' long term ceiling a lot higher.

You first said it was going to cost us an extra $5M, now you're saying it's $1M. If you're referring to the $900K difference in salary for this year, the Bucks have paid out over half that difference already, so it's less. As for the expiring contract for next year, those don't have much value in the new CBA.

I don't think you understand team option. We only pay him through this year, and nothing next year.

How you figure? Next year is a team option, not guaranteed.

They'll really be pissed when McBob wins 3 games all by himself, allowing us to pass them in the ping pong ball race.

Hope the first from Milwaukee is 2014. The Bucks could be a lottery team next year if Ellis and Jennings leave via free agency.

Can you imagine starting Moute and Harkless? We'd struggle to break 60.

Because Miami showed OKC they can't compete with them as constructed. Afflalo gives them a viable 3rd option on offense and would be better than anyone they could get with the Toronto pick, which is currently 8th based on Toronto's record. NBAdraft.net has Cauley-Stein at that pick. I don't see him contributing much next year. I expect Toronto to improve with Gay on board, so the pick will probably be lower. Mason Plumlee? Perkins is worthless when Miami plays Bosh at center, and McBob and Ayon would provide better matchups.
