lol.... We're not competing against Golden State yet........ I like the fact of getting an identity. I totally understand that we have to score points, but I like the fact that we have a POSSIBLE core that will make life difficult on the visiting team.

Because the price was too high and we knew they had a side deal that would let our preferred big man drop to us.

Anyone thinking we were making the playoffs after this draft next year is just being an idiot. We need time to let our young bigs develop. We'll get guards at a later time.

Sorry, but I disagree. We got our man WITHOUT giving up future assets. I like solidifying the front court. Especially with the way our paint defense is.

I'm not saying it happens next year.... We have 2 very young bigs that need time to mature into their height. Give them 2 years and I think we'll be very happy.

smh..... We had NO problem scoring points... We gave up 35 point quarters..... That was our problem.

We didn't have a problem scoring points last year... We couldn't stop anyone. Plain and simple... A stopgap would be just fine for a year or 2.

Bull****..... Just because we didn't address PG in the 1st round doesn't mean we failed. We can use a stop gap PG again this year. I'd much rather plug that BIG FAT HOLE IN THE MIDDLE of the court.

Now you're being naive... Welt and Co. knew Dallas was in negotiations for Doncic with the trade. Sometimes the best deals are the ones you walk away from....

You actually don't know that.... We could have easily trumped the Dallas deal..... And yes... Atlanta would have taken it.

As he said... You can't fix a team in a year. We had a nice draft. We have a few nice pieces in the front court. we'll address the guard position in FA or next year. Remember we don't have any real flexibility right now. If we can find a way to dump a few bad contracts then I'll be very happy.

I actually don't have a big problem standing pat with our current PG's.... If Fournier is healthy then we somewhat of a 3rd ball handler.
