He is our best offensive weapon for sure. If he goes then we are tanking for sure unless we get a veteran scorer in return which I dont see happening.

I dont think Henny never said IN THE season. But if opportuniy presents now, as teams wants to improve for the playoff run, you have to go for it. I will not be opposed for a nice trade as teams are getting desperate for a playoff run. I am hoping we are not one of those teams.

Jameer became available on trade talks and appears to be heading to Cleveland. I am very happy for him if this goest thru. He is the guy I always wanted to back up Elfrid. Heck, I will get on it and bring Jameer back with a second from Cleveland in Exchange for Augustine.

I dont think he has any valid or reputable source. However, it makes sense for them to trade him now. I don't think Brown is in the Celtics future plan. Boston is working hard on a possible trade with New york for Melo. I do see him going to New york instead of the Magic. We have no player other than Ibaka that they will consider trading for. Henigan's asking price for Ibaka is pretty high as it should. Boston will not sway. At least for now. I see rozier, brown and a pick going to New york for Melo. Maybe we can be a third team where a pick (first)from New york, hernangomez and crowder come to us for ibaka. Ibaka goes to new york and vuc go to boston. Im sure other player needs to be added for salary to work.

Call me crazy but I dont think we can blame Hennigan completely. He has done ok. Lets look back. He took on a team that was in a very bad position. He dealt DH situation greatly. In fact, what we got in return for DH turn back to be really good. I still think we won that trade. We have not had any luck on our lottery picks. We did the best we could there. Again, I think he did well with our picks considering our position at the time. We know that Gordon, payton and mario were not his first choices. Dipo was our clear pick at the time. No way we knew how Giannis or Gobert will turn out to be the players they are today. So going back to Gordon and payton. Our first choices were Wiggins and Parker. With Smart as our first choice for PG. unfortunaltely we ended up picking 4th and trading for Payton. I had no problem with the move then as we were in a position that those were the the best player left at those positions at the time. I cant blame him for trading the pick and returning phil pick for Elfrid. We needed the PG. Now. Lets talk about Mario. Henny wanted Towns or porzingis. Unfortunately, we again ended in a rough position in the draft and those players were already taken. I remember wanting Turner at the time but was ok with the Mario pock as we already had our center position solidify with VUC. 2016 was the year I think was his worst. I was happy with the pick of Sabonis and didnt like the idea of him trading it. I still think there was no need. Now, lets talk about trades and free agency moves. In my opinion, He did ok here as well. No perfect but ok. I dont think is fair to look back now and see things differently. I was ok with the Harris and Olafipo trade. Harris played for us for years and didnt really worked out. We got expiring contracts in return which is helping us at the moment. Dipp trade hirt but it was also necessary. Fournier is a very similar player who just signed a long term deal for less of what Dipo will get this year. The inclusion of the 2016 pick was not necessary. The free agency signings is what I think he has struggle so far. I dont think is entirely his fault but he can do better. I was ok with Augustine and Biz signing. I think we overpay Biz but it is no secret that we will have to overpay players to come here. He has tried to get Millsap forever but he has had no luck. I think Biz was just another secondary move he had to do. Overall, I think he has been an average GM who has been trying to make it work. I just dont see another GM who can do better considering our market and the willingless of players to come here. We truly have to overpay players in order to have them come here and I think we are now in a position that we can do that. This is the main reason I think we need to keep Hennigan. He has done move to put ourself in this position. We have our coach and likely we will have our future front court secure(expecting no trades) with Ibaca, Biz and Gordon. We need to get a PG and an experience SF to get us to the next level. Like I said before, we need to consider all options at this point. He is a smart guy who Im sure is working the phones as we speak. I think we need to give him at least 2 more years.

I have to agreee somehow but Payton has more value than most of our other role players( Augustine, CJ,Biz) just to name a few. I think we might have to make EVERYONE available in order to get something of value back. (Picks, young players, end of contract year players, etc..The only guy a like to keep is Gordon and maybe Mario. I see us keeping Biz tho. Not many teams will take on his contract. I see us keeping Mario, Gordon and Biz.

I be all for it. This guy still in his prime. 3 more years easely. I just dont see atlanta doing it for just vuc. Vuc and DH doesnt make sense. They also have muscala in them bench. They will need a PF. The question is will you rather have him over Ibaka? They are both free agents after this year.

Although I amnot a big fan of either but Collison, knight and Rondo are likely available for cheap and it can be an upgrade in the pg position. A pick is not necessarily needed to make this happen. I rather go for Bledsoe or Dragic as I consider them a better overall option but will require more than a expire contract to make it happen. We do need to upgrade the sf position for sure. Here is where we need to use one of the big either vuc or biyombo or even Gordon depending of the quality of player we are getting(paul george)

i honestly think he has no choice. Clearly, he is not staying there for long. I dont think there are many teams who are willing to give too much for a PG. I think Orlando is only of a few teams that are truky in need for an upgrade in the PG position. A trade of green and the lakers first should do.

i like the trade for us. The only problem is that we are going to be thin in the Pf/C position. We will have to go after Monteciunas for cheap on a 1-2 year deal after the trade. This might solve the problem for us. We might also have to get a PG on a separate deal. I will like for them to go after Reggie Jackson for Fournier deal. I know we have CJ and Augustine but this two are truly back up PG's. Atlanta will do it in a heartbeat. They know Millsap will leave next year as a free agent. He is not staying. Reason why they are trying to move him NOW. The only problem with this deal is Portland. They are not giving up on a future all star player for a 1 year rental in Millsap and a big contract player on Biyombo. Atlanta and Orlando wil have to throw in a pick here their way. Jackson, Augustin CJ Mc, Mario, CJ Watson Evan turner, Gordon, Green Gordon,Green, Rudez Ibaka, Monte, Zimmerman Is ok, No greate but OK

Although I agree with you, Payton has improved significantly on Both, defense and offense in compared to last year. I think he lacks of IQ leadership which I dont think will improve anytime soon. Great PG's possess high Basketball IQ and leadership..(Nash, Paul, parker to name a few...) I still hold my position of going after Bledsoe hard.

On a positive note. Gordon is second in the league on one to one defense. Considering he is always playing defense against the most talented players in the league makes this interesting stat impressive.

Very pleased to see the first really good game as a team this season. I feel bad for Hezonja but it seems as he is out of the rotation for sure.

and why do you want to wait when you already have all that in Giannis. If Giannis became available and all they request is Gordon in exchange then I will not even hesitate for a second. I will even throw a pick if needed. Giannis is a stud and it is Gordon ceiling.

I still think his defense has regressed. He seems to be more offensive minded with our team. I have not check the stats on him but I dont think he is averaging even a block per game. He needs to improve his defensive game.

Those are 2 great picks. I will wait until halfway through the season before we can see how Mario fantasy selection pans out. I did the same with Korver (got him for cheap)thinking that DH will help space him more for those 3 point fantasy points. So far, not so golden. I just recently got him on the free agency at the forum fantasy league. That is how much value he has now.

I am very disappointed as how we started the season. It is not because of the losses but the way we lost those two games. Our defense seems to be even worse than last year. Right now, i just dont see us making the playoff. Cleveland Toronto Boston Chicago Indiana Charlotte Detroit Miami Atlanta Bucks New York Are all above us and likely have higher chances of making the playoff. I honestly see us just slighthly better than Philadelphia and likely Brooklyn. I think we are, talentwise, similar to the likes of New York and Bucks. Maybe we can split some games with them. We have to make some changes soon. We have the potential, I just dont see it yet.

Who miss Dedmon now?

We are really missing Oladipo. It shows how valuable he was in the offensive game. It would it been nice to see a combination of Oladipo, Gordon and Harris with Dwight in the middle.
