Adonal Foyle, Mike Wilks and a 2009 1st round pick (ORL own) were acquired by the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Kyle Lowry. Brian Cook, Kyle Lowry and a TPE were acquired by the Houston Rockets in exchange for Rafer Alston and a TPE. I know that Rafer was good for us that year but the fact that Lowry was acquired in exchanged of our players: Adonal Foyle, Wilks and our 2009 1st round pick makes it painful in retrospect.

I have mixed feelings with the Boggie situation. I think he is a great player that will make us better now. Likely not enough to make the playoff this year tho. We will not have our 2017 pick as it was likely involved in the deal. Next year we will have an expiring Boggie with a still poorly constructed team and no top rookie to look for in the future. We will be again in a Ibaka situation with HWNSNBU running the show. I think we did the right thing by passing. This coming from one of the biggest Boggie fan. I think Favor might be a better option to consider as we can keep our pick that we can use on another deal for a guy like Lillard.

What do you guys think of Derrick Favor? It seems as Utah wants to improve the guard position and willing to give Favor in return. Im not sure if DJ/ Cj and late first will be enough.

I think we are getting off topic here. We are all running in a big circle here. Is ok to agree to disagree but we can all agree that Skiles is gone and Vogel is a better overall coach. Hennigan is walking on a very fine rope and his future depends on this year moves. He is again allowing for the coach to be participant of future personnel moves. Lets see what tommorrow brings and hope for the best.
