Mario still is a very good player who has not had a proper offseason training with the team. He had to learn and adjust his game several times to different coaching staff game techniques and plays. This is the year for him to adjust properly and work on his jumpshot. I am still high on him. But I will trade him for Brown in a heartbeat.

Yes, i was very high on those two second round picks. This are the picks you want to use on players you want to develop or young international players. We currently dont have any young interesting international player playing overseas that we can follow. Philadelphia and Boston have a few good ones.

I think there has to be a penalty box threat for those who are too emotional and have them post only there until their emotions are more stable.

It is going to happen. The free agency is still going on. There are still players out there available. Willie Reed, Ilyasova, McGee, TONY ALLEN(I want him), Andrew Bogut, ALAN WILLIAM(another guy I want), Alex Len( Dont mind him), Pachulia, Speights, Mirotic, David Lee, Mason Plumlee, Pau Gasol, jaMychal Green, Dedmond and Noel. As you can see all of this players( except Allen) are PF or Centers. Too many options still out there for any team to select prior engaging in any talks with the Magic for Vuc.

I think there is a bunch of teams that will be all over thompson. However,The return will not be as good, considering his contract. Cleveland is keep him. if teams are paying Biz is 17 mill per year, Robin Lopez 14m, monroe 18m, Faried 13m, Noah 17m, kanter 18m, Dieng 14m, jame johnson 14m, gibson14m, amir johnson 11m, Adams 22.5m, mahinmi 16.6, mozgv 15 and plumlee 12.5m... then Thompson 15-17m per year is easy to move. A lot of teams will take that considering what he provides.

You read my mind. I was going to post exactly this. A 3 team trade with Utah. Orlando gets Exum, jackson and johnson Utah gets Agustine, Crowder and orlando's 2020 OKC first round Boston gets Vucevic

No if you include the 2020 okc first and a second round. Remember that Smart will be elegible for an extension and a free agent soln. Boston will not be able to resign him either way due to their current cap situation.

I dont think that is the case tho. I think Vuc has value. The problem is that during the free agency time trades are bot a priority. Wait until the summer leagues ends and all signings are done. That is where each team will look at their roster and see if they can improve it via trade. Vuc will be traded and we will be getting some value back. We just need to be patient.

They are not looking for trades. They want to send contracts out. It seems as the one going out the door is Likely Crowder. Okc 2020 first and next year 2nd round pick will likely be enough to get him.

    2017 Official Offseason Thread

I dont think they are in any position to demand much back other than likey second round picks. They have no choice as they need to sign Hayward. Is all about who wants any of those players the most. I dont know of any team other than Brooklyn and us that can accomodate a possible deal. Brooklyn is likely in no desire to help Boston once again. They might want some love back from the Celtics this time around and The Celtics...well...they are the Celtics. Dallas is another team but they need to sign their big guy first. Is all about holding our position strong.

Johnson is expiring. It will give us an extra 10 more million in cap space next year.

How am I overrating him. By getting Exum and Johnson in retirn? Lol. I even said that we might have to include a second rounder. I think you are under value Fournier a little here. Heck, im not a fan of his but to say that Exum, Johnson and an injury prone Burc is too much value for Fournier is crazy nonsense talk. Augustin, Fournier and a second round pick is more than enough to take Exum, johnson and Burcs.

    2017 Official Offseason Thread

Like I said way earlier. Utah has been interested in Fournier and will look for ways to get him if Hayward didnt resign. I think a trade I mentioned makes the most sense. Agustine and Fournier for Johnson/Exum/ Burcs. Maybe we can add a sexond rounder to sweeten the deal.

    2017 NBA Draft Thread

Our major problem is. Ot individual defense. It is team defense. The rotation is extremely poor. Payton has the ability to be a good defender in this league if he put the effort. In my opinion, He is average among all point guards. In fact there are not many good defensive PG in this league. C. Paul, Wall, Conley and Hill are in my opionion the top 4 defenders in the position. After that maybe Atlanta and OkC but I cant come up with anything more.

Ohh gosh. NO. He scores a lot because he shoots a lot! Turnover machine. If some her dislike how much Fournier keeps the ball on his hands per possession . Then, expect an outrage with Waiters.

The sixers are offering JJ a one year 20M deal and the Pelicans are offering a short term deal to Nick Young as well.

With all that has happened in the last 8 hours, I am feeling more comfortable with the position we are at the moment. The Biz 17 millions per year doesnt look as bad today as it did yesterday. It gives me hope that there might be a team out there willing to take his salary. My impression on the the Ingles talks was based mainly on a discussion between Utah and Orlando in a possible sign a trade for Fournier. Utah, apparently, has shown interest in fournier in the past. I will not be surprised if this happens. They are just looking for options to remain competitive if or when Hayward leaves. Even if this is the case, I dont like it. I will not mind an Alec Burks, joe johnson and Exum trade for Fournier and Agustine tho. It will help clear our cap space greaty for next year and 2019 free agency.

He had no choice. At least he got Some decent talent back plus a first. I don't think is that. As of a deal considering his position. I just don't see how the combination of Harden and Paul will work. Harden plays better with the ball on his hand.

I agree. The way the East is getting weaker with teams like New York, Chicago, Atlanta and now Indiana trying to Start from scratch by getting rid of their star players, I will not be surprised if we somehow see ourselves playing for that last playoff spot.

    2017 Official Offseason Thread

Eh. I think I'm ok with keeping Augustin as a back up PG if we are not upgrading on a starting PG. I like the idea of replacing Green with Stanley Johnson but that's about it. I want to see Meeks playing a full season to be honest. I see ourselves finishing at the a 9-10 position with the current line-up if we stay healthy.

Can we get a breakdown of teams that are likely in play for a VUC trade? My list 1. Boston 2. Buck. 3. Houston 4. Atlanta 5. Maybe Brooklyn 6. Golden State 7. Dallas 8. San Antonio Looking at the list, I dont think we are getting anything of value out of any of this teams other than more salary back. Fournier. I think, he holds more value and can be traded to any team in need of a reliable SG. However, His salary is not longer attractive as the salary cap went down. Augustine. I dont see any team taking his salary unless we include a pick. Biyombo. I thing we will need to ride his salary for the next 2 years. Toronto is the only team might be interested in my opinion but they will be over the cap if they sign lowry. It will have to be done before they sign Lowry. I think we will need to go with what we have this year and not do any HENNY like trade or signing. We will be in a better position next year with some expiring contracts that are going to be more valuable in a trade. (vuc, Ross, Biyombo which has a player option for 2019)

Brooklyn is shopping around Lin(12 millions over the next 2 years). I think we should at least consider him as an option. I am not sure what to give in return but Maybe the likes of Augustin and Meeks? I dont think they will be interested in Vuc as they have a very similar player in Mozgov and Fournier will be too much in my opinion.
