The rest of our schedule is so easy that I see us winning 13 out of the next 23 games. We are likely finishing with a total of 31 wins. Enough to get us out of the bottom 5. Agree. And he truly have the PG skills necessary to run an offense. Doesnt He lead the league in assits? It feels as we are once again getting into a Travis Diener vs Carlos Arroyo like discussion. Payton is putting the numbers like he always do but the Suns remain winless since his addition. It is going to be interesting to see what they are going to do. The have a bunch of talents at the PF/C position with Bender, Chriss and Williams and their future SG/SF in Booker and Jackson. They also have 2 first round picks this year. If they think Payton is their future PG they might trade one of the first but most likely they will also pick a very needed PG and let Payton test the market. They are honestly in the same position as we were with him.

That 23 year old Suns new PG looks pretty good. We should take a look at him in free agency. (purgatory emoji)

Buddy, everything seems to be bothering you today. Lets be open minded here and block that negativity for a sec. Is not about liking them but more about their contracts and how will any if them will be of any benefit. Injuries, roster movement etc.. Each year things are different and players value around the league also changes. What if Vuch defensive rating improves and becomes a better overall defensive player or at least average? I am sure, last year Payton value was higher than this year Payton even though his numbers were better this year. And most likely next year value might be better if he signs a contract comparable to Lou williams in the offseason. Sometimes is more about the cap space than the quality of certain players.

We really have to. We have to really figure out their true value. Wether we keep them vs trading them. Every year that passes their trade value will be higher in my opinion. Test the market in the offseason and again in the season. Fourniers number are getting better each year. Somehow, he might be of interest. Will see. But I like where we are with isaac, gordon and our next 2018 first round pick. I am hoping we can get into another first rounder this year. We will have to wait and see.
