Am I the only worried about WTCS medical condiction? Sickel cell disease is no joke. This is a condition that can affect multiple areas including but not limiting to bleeding in joints. He is young now but it concerns me once he gets more physical in the NBA. I take Porzingis over WTCS with the 5th pick.

Not only they didn't mentioned afflalo but they omitted the likes of Eric Gordon, Joe Johnson, Gordon Hayward, Eric Bledsoe/Dragic, Kyle korver and even our own JJ redick.

I gave Hennie a hard time for the gordon contract and letting jameer and afflalo go for nothing.. looking back..I am accepting the afflalo trade pending of course how fournier plays out. Even though we could it got something better for him during the season..I'm ok with Fournier. The jameer waive still not sure what the reason was. Maybe jameer asked for it. That still bothers me as we still need a pg. This recent signing I'm ok with it. Channing is truly a gem. He does have 4 more year left and at decent for just 8 millions per year. Remember that BBD has a 6mills per year and McRoberts just got almost 6 per as well. Bosh is getting 20 per. Channing is clearly a player in between so at 8 per year is what his value is. He is a great vet who can lead this team..This is the type of players that stars wants to play around. We need to get this type of players prior getting eventually a potential star. I think the young core will surprise next year and we will become a desire destinations for players. Likely not through free agency but through trades. We still early in the free agency process and we still have cap room left.

That is a pretty decent contract for him..great pick up. He is earning the same as BBD. Lol. Happy 4th to all!

If I'm not mistaken, jameer will be clearing waiver tomorrow. I will hate for him to be claimed by a team like Toronto or philadelphia. I know Phily is his hometown, but is definitely the only team currently worse than the magic. Hopefully he clears without been claimed so he can go to a team of his choosing. He deserves that.

Surely there has been mixed feelings about him at the moment...This is the year to tell..Last year he was ok but so far this year, other than the draft, has been very disappointed. It is too early to tell but I understand your displeasure. We are expecting to move forward and compete this year. I don't see it happening yet. Now...The coach is another ballpark. I am exciting for the season..I like the two picks..but the free agency with the exchange of afflalo and jameer for Ben gordon and willy green has been very disappointed to say the least. I'm not upset either about the signing of those two players..my issue is that we waived jammer which had an expiring contract for two guys that will leave after one year. Not sure why they did that move. It is all about been loyal with our players. We only have one pg in our roster and we let go jammer for nothing. I rather pay the 8 millions to him than spread it on two guys that will likely be unhappy playing for a losing team. As some of you has said very well..I will keep my mind open and hopefully we will see the reason to this moves over the next few months.

you clearly don't understand how this work. I have been a season ticker holder for more than 10 years...we have special meeting/events with ownership and players. Hennie has said in the past, at least to us, that fan based is important. This is not about making draft or personal decision. We, as fan trust ownership and management and pay our dues so they can entertained us. The last time he and ownership talked to us, he specifically said that he wants to please our fan based and season ticker holders and that we are very important during the building process. i understand that This is all entertainment but my point is that if you are not happy with a meal and service you don't pay to go back. Although in sports is different, I don't have to pay my hard earning money on a management that provides service not of my liking. That is how we can talk and probably get listened. I will stay at home and follow my team on my TV. I am not the only one. 60% of my fellow ticker holders has done the same thing. Hopefully, there is a short term plan and if so, I will be the first to apologize and jump back on the Hennie bandwagon as I was last year. people love to hennie blinds them of his actions..if Otis would it made the same moves this year..I'm sure all of you will be even worse than me..The fire Otis now posts will be off the chart. I do see your point. I have been a season ticker holder for many years and as a fan you want to cheer for a winning team. The last two years has been tough but I knew we are on a rebuilding process and we saw some forward strikes towards that. However. This year, so far We have regress. Our current team, as it stands, is less talented than last year team. We do have two new talented young players but still very raw. Our core of player are either too young and our 2 new veterans are and will be here for a short period of time. I dont see how we are going to be able to compete. To top it all, I took offense when Hennie said in the press conference that he blocks our inputs and request as fans. For the first year in many years I will not be renewing my season tickets and put it on hold until next year. My commitment is still with the team but i will not be paying a significant amount of my hard earned money on another season ticket seats when event the manager of the team does not care about the fans. I love the players and city and I hope we can turn this around ASAP. It is hard to be a players fan on your team when the players leave after a year or two in your team.

This I don't understand..I have been very high on Hennie but this last few moves, including the draft, has been very disappointed. It appears as he wants to save cap space but for what??? Jameer has been a very loyal player who has given a lot to this community and you waive him for two guys that are not going to bring much. The 2 million s to jammer plus the 6 millions to green and gordon are equivalent to the expiring 8 million that jameer had which could it have been traded on deadline for assets if needed. So if ir was a cap space move..then explain it to me.. The draft! We could it easily picked Exum and Saric without giving any other assests. Saric will it stayed in Europe saving us another 2 millions in cap space if this is truly what Jennie wants. We could it select a guy like patrick young with a second rounder on a cheap contract for a 2nd or third PF/C option. Afflalo deal was a lateral move. So far we have lost 1 first round, a second round pick, our loyal leader in jammer and our best player in afflalo for nothing yet. my grade for the off season so far on Hennie is a D minus. I think we have overrated him over the past 2 years as our expectations were low and we were truing to lose for the tank.

When will jameer clear waivers? If he does, can he sign with us if he desires?

He was a great leader and excellent character..Great with the community. Truly a class act, like no other. Sad to see him go. Hopefully we can pick him up in the future so he retires on a magic jersey. Sad day.
