I think someone mentioned is in the 8 to 9 per year range. They were assuming.
-
The jordan Clarson signing was OK. 12 millions per year is pretty decent for a player like him but Mozgov signing... WOW!. Im not sure how Lakers fans are feeling at the moment. Im sure Paul Gasol will be getting close to max now.
-
there has to be a trade in the works. It doesnt make sense we have now 4 PG in the team. We must be trading Watson somewhere. You dont sign Augustin to be your 3rd option at the position. Apparently is a 4 year contract. I see Watson and VUC been traded. I'm not sure who wants Napier out there, so he likely still be our 3 PG option.
-
Yep! I agree but he can be a very good option for other teams that dont want to pay max money on players like mahimi or kanter. His salary is that good. Considering what we call percentage now. I will not be surprise if dallas do a sign and trade of Parson for him and change. Whether is now or later in the season. Im with you, i dont like him here anymore but teams like Dallas, Phoenix, Portland, houston and toronto will be extremely interested.
-
I dont think is that. He is a reliable top center in the league on a very good contract. He definetely have value.
-
I just cant imagine Stans face when discussing contract options with the likes of Crawford, william, Kazemore etc... requesting over 15 mill per year.
-
Is not about the number itself but value. Crazy how regular role llayers are now thinking that the value is as much as a max player just because there is more money out there. The value of Parson or Barnes should not be equivalent to the value of guys like Lebron or Durant.
-
They are not crazy low. This guys are just role players. Except Ryan. I just dont think that because there is mor money available we should just over pay players. I dont thing williams is more tha 8 per year. Now, will they get more? Most likely. That doesnt make it right. I can even say that Fournier should not get more than 15 per year. It is my opinion on how players should be valued. A 15ppg 2rpg and 2 apg player should not be asking for more than 12 to 15 per year. Then I rather offer 10 mil per 2 years to afflalo
-
If that is true, which I doubt,we have one of the best movable and desirable contract in the NBA on Vucevic. Very valuable in a trade.
-
Again, this are Agents trying to cash in. I dont see marvin williams getting more than 8 per year and kazemore more than 10 per year. I do see ryan anderson getting about 15 per year unfortunately.

It might be easier to just move back to Fresno.

This trade for Meeks doesnt really make sense for me at all. Letting Nicholson go due to the cap hold of 2 millions and then getting someone back with 6.5 million. I dont understand. This guy was seriously hurt last year.I dont think he will be the same as before ever. I would it be ok with the move if we had included Napier in the trade.

I will trade you ibakas shirt for 2 players of my choice in next year fantasy league

According to ESPN, we are still very interested in Horford.
-
Welcome! And i agree on most of yiur points but this is the year for Henny to prove himself. We need to make the playoff. It is that simple. I am sure he will be busier after july 1st. Honestly, i see us getting more value via trade rather than FA. For example: We can trade Vuc for proven sf or PG or sign and trade for a RFA) and then go after guys like Horford, Ryan Anderson etc..( This is just an example) Henny has option and likely has already a plan. We will have to wait and see. I am glad you decided to post and join this craziness. Again, Welcome to the Board!

3 ppg and change of difference with less fga as you well said is pretty close in my book. Considering more rebounds in less minutes played. The only real difference is the FT attemps. I think Vuc needs to be more aggressive in the paint. Eventhough I feel as there are some similarities in this two players my point was for people to realize that Vuc is very valuable and can be of service. Im not opposed in starting him at center alongside with Ibaka and see how it goes. But his trade value should be higher than people think of him here. I still think we should trade him as long as his value is "high". Our return could be higher. Wether this are picks, a star player or more cap room for next year free agency.

Will you guys be "ok" with a player close to the Aldridge talent next to IBAKA? If so, take a look at this: Season Age G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% eFG%FTFTAFT%ORB DRBTRBASTSTL BLK TOV PF PTS L.Aldridge 2010-11 25 81 81 39.6 8.7 17.5 .500 0.0 0.3 .174 8.7 17.2 .505 .501 4.3 5.5 .791 3.4 5.3 8.8 2.1 1.0 1.2 1.9 2.7 21.8 Nic, Vuc 2015-16 25 65 60 31.3 8.2 16.1 .510 0.0 0.1 .222 8.2 16.0 .512 .511 1.7 2.3.753 2.7 6.2 8.9 2.8 0.8 1.1 1.9 2.7 18.2

This will make me feel better with the trade! I think is probably Noah's agent trying to increase his value.

I got the joke. And i saw your point but I am not in agreement. vogel is not known for been and offensive minded guy but that doesnt mean he is bad a it. Looking at Indiana history, they have been at the bottom of the league in offense even before Vogel got there. Indiana problem has always been more of a Roster problem which we are seeing at the moment with our current roster. BTW vogel didnt got fired.
-
They already did by increasing the cap room. Look at Deandre Jordan. 12/13 guy. On a max contract. I see Ibaka getting 15/12 with us. That will make him a max contract. He has one year to prove himself.
-
Those stats prove my point. They are both very similar players. Almost identical stats except Horford has more assits per game. But yiu have to understand that atlanta offense if very different as OKC offense. In fact, horford touches are way more often that Ibakas. I wish i can get that stat for you but im in my phone. OKC offense was mainly thru Westbrook and Durant while Atlantas offense was mainly thru their bigs. Completely different scenario. In this league, a player like Ibaka is a max player for sure.
-
Im with you, in a way. Im still waiting to see what happens after july 1st. Looking at things are now, we know that Horford is a max player at 30. Ibaka at 27 Should be considered a max player as well. I have no problem giving him max money. I still need to see what we do with Vuc before i give my final judgment. Oladipo was a nice piece that we learn to like a lot. It is a little to hard to swallow as it is Still too soon.

have you?
-
Really? Where did you get that. Who doesnt like offense? In order to win you need to score. He might be a more defensive minded coach but the fact that you are saying that he doesnt like offense is ridiculous. Indiana has been always a very good offensive team.
