Don’t know where you got these lineups from, but JI isn’t a GTD. Same with all the other ones listed that way. Starting 5 same as last night, Fultz/Wagners/Paolo/Bol

The big issue right now is WCJ is hurt and we don’t have a 2nd center on the roster. Bol has been starting at the 5 but he’s not strong enough and he’s not a good rebounder. Honestly Bol probably projects as a 3 in the league. Mo Bamba has also been hurt, but when he’s played he’s been awful this year. Ready to move on from him. We should’ve last season. Happy to see Markelle and Cole already playing more minutes, I was nervous they were going to keep the kid gloves on so glad to see they didn’t. It just sucks that for whatever reason, we’re never healthy. Get Markelle and Cole back, lose Wendell and Jalen. It’s a brutal combination of having a med staff that is incompetent and has been for years, and having a roster of injury prone players.

Hard to justify Moe Wagner getting 12 field goal attempts. Especially when Bol gets 3 and Kelle gets 9. Another game that was over well before the 4th quarter. I’m so bummed out we didn’t make a move for Donovan.

The last 60 games are gonna tell a big story. I’m curious to see how long the minutes restriction lasts on Markelle. Also if we don’t get WCJ back soon we’re in huge trouble

Yeah, multiple people have said it and they’re all right. He might not be our best player but Wendell is by far our most important player. We can’t rebound or defend without him.

Mosley already ruled him out for tomorrow. Said they’re gonna give him a few more days. The earliest we’ll see him is Wednesday vs ATL

I stand by what I said in my response to your post; and I can tell you I didn’t downvote you, I don’t downvote people. So far you’re right, it’s been a rough start to the season. The nba in summer is kinda like the Ted Lasso season 1 finale, It’s the hope that kills ya.

We still have 3/4 of the season left, and I never expected Isaac back anyway. Sounds like the only people ruled out for tonight at the moment are Cole and JI, and Cole should be back in a week. I still don’t like how we handle injuries, and I’m super nervous that the “bug” will pile up again, but we might actually get to see what a full strength version of this team looks like soon. I hope they don’t do the next 20 games of Kelle as some sort of off the bench pitch count BS, but they probably will.

Also opted to watch the Noles/Gators. This loss came down to we can’t rebound if Wendell doesn’t play, and we can’t shoot. It’s mind blowing to me that we still haven’t addressed our 3 point shooting after all these years.

Jonathan Isaac’s injury occurred 845 days ago. I hope you get to see that obnoxiously large front court, but I’m skeptical we ever see JI play again.

Looks like early injury report for tomorrow doesn’t have Paolo or Moe Wagner on it. Wendell and Chuma Questionable. Cole, Fultz, Isaac still out

Yes, it’s not that healthy players are being held out, there’s no way we could legally do that. However, it does seem that we’re a lot more strict on boxes these players have to check to return to the court than other teams, and we get zero meaningful information on updates if setbacks occur. It really comes down to a JI and Markelle issue, the rest of the guys are just icing on the cake, but the reason why people are like this is because of the previous 2 mentioned, especially Isaac.

Yeah. I got nothing here. Add Markelle’s current contract situation and it gets even hairier. Like, if we don’t pick up his contract and cut him this summer for that $2 million hit because we don’t feel he’s showed us enough, and he feels like we wrongfully held him out of games to allow him to prove himself that could get messy. Also really doesn’t look good for any potential free agents that would actually want to come here to compete.

I’ve been fooled by Markelle’s instagram too many times. I’m sure they are trying to send a message or tease the fans, but if I’ve learned anything about this team it’s that the players have zero say on when they’re coming back from injury. I’d love to at least get some guys back for the home game though, my patience is wearing thin.

Yeah, the Admiral Schofield and Kevon Harris minutes are unbearable. The only thing keeping me going this season is Suggs, Franz, Bol and when they actually let Wendell play. It’s a shame that we’re pushing the tank directive, because this team has a ton of talent
