I think it’s gonna come down to free agency. If there’s a player available that’s interested that we need that extra $10 mill for, you cut him and sign that player. I’d expect if he were still on the roster opening day that we hang on to him for the season and if he has another setback or doesn’t look like he can play at the same level, we move on because for the 24-25 season none of his contract is guaranteed.

Much better comparison. Unreal talent, career derailed by injury after injury after injury. I’m trying to think of a comparison for someone who went through these kind of injury struggles early and was able to turn it around and all I can think of is Porzingis.

This is just a bad comparison. Hill played the majority of 6 seasons before his injury. I’d be shocked if JI ever finds a way to play consistently at this level.

I don’t know how you can treat this injury as if it wasn’t influenced by all his other injuries. The dude missed 2 years and was only able to stay healthy for a month coming back from that. It sucks, and I feel for him, but I don’t see how we can justify keeping him on the roster

This is one of those games that reminds me that only 4 or 5 of our players on the roster right now will be part of the rotation when we’re a playoff team again. A lot of talented ball players, just not a lot of good lineups to show for it

Goga should be playing over Bol. Our second unit not having a real big man is killing us

At this point Franz is our only player that I’m confident in shooting the long ball. 7-27 is horrid, but it’s what we do. Future is still bright, but we got a long way to go
