We have enough competent rotation that we could afford to take a swing and redshirt a raw prospect until some of the older and less reliable rotational pieces phase out. He’s clearly the Gary Harris in the rotation next year, assuming we don’t make a trade and improve that spot.

I think the main reason WCJ’s name is getting thrown out there is because he’s the only one with real value for other teams more than cap relief. If we trade WCJ, I’d hope it’d be for an all-star return

If I’m guessing what we’ll do, it’s probably trade Harris, and if we go big fish hunting for salary match, Fultz and picks too, and keep Wendell and JI. Also wouldn’t put it past us to just stay put, as disappointing as that would be.

I get it, but how many years are we going to play the same hypothetical on if 3 or 4 guys who are never healthy can all get healthy and most importantly stay healthy game? If it was just one of those guys we were hoping on sustained health for it would be one thing. We’ve got 4 lottery tickets essentially, and we’re speculating on what it would be like if they all hit at the same time.

Since Franz got hurt, Paolo is getting prime TMac usage as a 21 year old 2nd year player. I admittedly didn’t watch last nights game, felt like it was a schedule loss even if we were healthy.

Yeah, my optimism waned when Franz got hurt tbh. And with how we handle injury reporting, Franz could be out anywhere from a couple more days to a couple more weeks.

On top of last nights frustration, we seem to just be waving the white flag tonight. Carter, Fultz, Harris, Ingles, Franz all ruled out. Isaac supposedly will be back but I’m not holding my breath. We have 4 players that are either hurt or working their way back from injury ALL THE TIME… and have been for YEARS… all 4 need to go. I’m tired of talking about make believe of what could be if this roster was healthy because it’s not possible for Fultz, Carter, Isaac or Harris. Make trades now before January lets the season get away from us. Don’t wait til the deadline

Getting Ingles back is huge. I’m nervous about Franz, the injury looked gnarly and there hasn’t been a ton of updates since outside of what grade ankle sprain he’s dealing with

Oh the Olympics is an obvious exception, I just mean the annual FIBA play he does all summer. I love that he loves ball, but I don’t wanna see him burnt out or injured from pushing himself too hard.
