Tough loss, as I mentioned after the Memphis game, we’re past the point of moral victories. We lost the game in the 3rd quarter with that garbage offense. Need Fultz and JI and we need a shooter at the deadline, rinse and repeat.

Yeah, maybe I’m not remembering right but I wanna say the same thing happened last week before the Cavs game. Isaac wasn’t on the report initially and then ruled out when the injury report came out right before the game

I don’t expect Fultz or Isaac to play tonight, we have enough evidence from the team to show how we handle these situations

Franz. And the switchability of the big lineup more than anything else. That Carter/Isaac/Paolo/Franz/Fultz lineup is insane defensively. Back to back games over 20 minutes for JI. If this is the new norm, our ceiling feels different

Great win. Held a healthy Suns and all their firepower to single digits in the 4th before garbage time and under 100 for the game. We still need shooting and we should address it at the deadline, but I think it needs to be Gary and Chuma that are on the block.

A couple of really boneheaded late clock plays by JI this game. He’s been in the league too long and watched way too many games from the bench to have that low of bball iq. I’d take Vassell in a heartbeat, but they ain’t trading him to us unless the get Paolo or Franz back Also, Vassell is a poison pill contract, so damn near impossible to trade for

Feel like the first several years of the Weltman/Hammond era they were constantly searching for the next Giannis at all costs. Chasing a Unicorn. Now that Hammond has moved on, I think Parker has done a better job so far of focusing on team needs and less about drafting certain athletic builds.

Welcome to the club! lol I don’t like losing games we should win, but as you’ve mentioned, losing games like this before the deadline *should* force Weltman to make a move. This team as constructed is a 8-10 seed play-in team with a coin flip on getting a chance to get abused by Boston, Milwaukee or Philly in the first round. Also, I know I’ve been harsh on him, so need to shine some praise, kudos to JI for a season high of 22 minutes, all effective and even some crunch time. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and he doesn’t get a rest day on Sunday

Leaving 8 points at the free throw line in a game you lose by 1 is brutal

I’m sure the last playcall was Paolo iso and Ingles winding up with the shot was all Paolo making the selfless and IMO correct play. If the shot goes in we’re all praising it. The last play didn’t lose us the game. And I agree on the AB takes. He’s a baby trying to learn one of if not the hardest position to play in professional sports. He’s gonna take patience, but injuries are continuing to force our hand to throw him into the fire

Yeah Kelle was either on a minutes restriction that wasn’t disclosed or reaggravated something. No other reason for him not playing in crunch time, esp with Suggs already out

This is what you get when you only take a team seriously for 10 minutes of a 48 minute game. Our easy schedule doesn’t mean a damn thing if we play entitled basketball. This is a bad loss any way you shake it. We’re past the point of moral victories and “at least we came back and only lost by 1” talk.
