Remember Clifford only plays a 9 man rotation. Good chance Wes isn’t in the lineup night in and night out. Season will probably start with starters being: DJ/Fournier/Isaac/Gordon/Vucevic backup 1 is Fultz with some minutes at the 2 backup 2 is Ross with some minutes at the 3 backup 3/4 is Aminu backup 5 is Bamba Iwundu/Birch/MCW are injury insurance and depth

Draymond signs a 4 year - $100 million extension and makes next years free agency class even worse
-
Who were his comps coming out of college?
-
Westbrook has made a pretty solid career without having any sort of jump shot

Makes the Okeke stuff even weirder, but glad to have DaQuan on board!
-
I guess it’s possible, but if we took him without doing significant and thorough research on him with guys like NAW on the board I’d be extremely disappointed and lose a lot of trust in the staff
-
Not only is Okeke the only first rounder not to be signed yet, I believe he’s one of only 8 players in the entire draft that doesn’t have a contract at the moment.
-
True. I’d love either Malik here. Obviously, JB and Caris are 1A and 1B, but also would probably cost the most and are least likely to be dealt. Brown, LeVert and Beasley are all due to be RFA next year, which is a risk in itself considering how much money we already have committed.
-
Yeah, if we’re targeting 2s still on rookie deals that could be available it could make sense. Jaylen Brown, Caris LeVert, Malik Beasley, Malik Monk, Luke Kennard, Lonnie Walker, Josh Okogie?
-
All depends on 1) our thoughts on MCW or 2) if they involve White or Murray, they got Mills too, but he’s too pricey. But, we’ve also had this same conversation many of times. If we were trading Derozan we wouldn’t have stretched Mozgov
-
The Spurs had serious ties to Chuma on draft night, so there’s not a zero percent chance
-
Isn’t that Fultz interview sportscenter special supposed to air in July? We’re running out of month!
-
Yeah, no way that’s happening. As we’ve discussed, I think if we’re dealing with Boston at all we’re talking something based around Bamba for Brown.
-
Maybe we’re talking trade? Okeke still not being signed and us dragging our feet on the last spot makes me think we could be having trade conversations. I heard a rumor that the Spurs love Okeke and wanted him on draft night before we took him off the board. I want Dejounte, but I doubt they’d trade him. You’ve probably been right all along and we’re talking Derozan, but that would’ve been a hell of a lot easier if we didn’t cut Mozgov. That’s the part that makes the least sense so far.
-
Jefferson getting let go has to mean we’re signing Jeffries.
-
Maybe. He’s a quality player and a $22 million expiring though and by himself he’s not gonna add many wins. I see them retaining him until closer to the deadline unless somebody pays out the ass for him now
-
Daryl Morey is such an overrated and bad GM... good job by the Thunder going full rebuild. Curious to see what they’ll do with CP3.
-
Maybe you’re right, I just think Birch coming back continues to point to us being more in win-now mode than everyone thought going in to the offseason. If Bamba didn’t get hurt last year and Birch take his place, I’m pretty confident in saying we wouldn’t have made the playoffs.
-
If the plan was to trade Vooch we wouldn’t have given him an untradeable contract
-
Think Birch and Vooch back = Bamba on the block, but who knows... I don’t think either can play the 4, I think both are worthy of minutes and I don’t think there’s any rotation where Cliff plays 3 Centers
-
And Fournier breaking out of his early season shooting slump
-
Read that he hasn’t been signed yet because he may be part of a Westbrook to Miami deal.
-
I think a lot of people don’t watch all of the games and just box score watch. Especially with how late the Dubs games are
-
As if I had another reason to get his jersey!! I hope T is here until he hangs up the sneaks and then stays on with the organization when he does
