100% on this. To me his two biggest faults are this and the exact opposite of this where he won’t take a guy out even if he’s killing us. I want to give him a pass for the last 2 games strictly because of depth, but it’s not like it’s a new problem for him. I think he’s a good coach who’s really bad at in-game lineup adjustments.

I agree with you that Clifford was bad tonight. He left the bench in for way too long in the 2nd quarter. Also thought JI and Fultz should’ve played the entire 4th, not just the last 7 minutes.

The crowded area thing seems to be a spacing issues with him and Ross. I swear every time the two of them are on the floor together they run to the same spot and it results in a turnover. Really amplifies it too because the only time Evan and Ross are on the floor together is when we really need a bucket

Evan has been a completely different ball player this year. Not nearly as much hero ball and forcing things. I’m actually enjoying his game and happy that he seems to have turned a corner. Maybe it’s just a contract year thing, who knows, but he’s made an effort to be more of a team player

Man, the bench has really killed us this year. Our starters have been in the positives in almost every single game

Also, I don’t wanna hear the injury excuse. Indiana is missing their best 2 players too. Injuries have nothing to do with the lack of effort we’re showing on defense and our butterfingers on offense

DJ and Ross are fighting every game for which player has disappointed me most this year. They’ve both been so consistently bad.

I’d love to see 30+ minutes and 20+ FGA for Isaac and Fultz. One of them I’m confident in, the other probably won’t happen.

Why can’t we do both? Regardless of Vucevic’ health, our bench is killing us and the main reason we’ve been losing games. Give us one guy on it that can create his own shot and open things up for others.

So, best case scenario for Vucevic is returning on the 23rd at home against Chicago. Probably not gonna happen, but let’s use our Jay Magic mind and be optimistic Magic fans!!! That leaves us with 15 games without Vooch. Chances are Gordon probably misses the rest of the road trip, but who knows. He’s tough as hell and from what it sounds like he’s just got a bruised ankle. 15 games without Nik are: @ Pacers @ Pistons @ Cavaliers Raptors Warriors @ Wizards Suns @ Cavaliers @ Bucks Lakers Rockets @ Pelicans @ Jazz @ Nuggets @ Blazers In terms of schedule, I think we have 8 winnable games. If you want to stay competitive start Birch and keep Bamba in the same role in the same minutes until he starts playing better.

I think if AG gets healthy quick that we’re not gonna miss Vooch as bad as everyone thinks we will. Also depends on how Clifford does the minutes split though. If Mo gets the starting minutes we’re gonna struggle, if Khem does we’re gonna be okay. I think it really comes down to how coaching and management want to play this. If we meant what we said about trying to be a perennial playoff team again vs developing Mo, Markelle and JI possibly at the expense of wins.

Month plus with an ankle means it’s something that could linger. Either an occult fracture or a high ankle sprain. We’re not seeing Vooch again until 2020, might even be out until the all star break.

Please, nobody take this the wrong way... I love Nik and I hope he gets healthy soon... but, assuming Aaron gets healthy sooner, I’m actually pretty damn excited to see what a starting 5 of Fultz/Fournier/Isaac/Gordon/Birch can do playing fast and swarming on D
