  1. Indeed, TITY, the one will suffice. BTW, how has Rocko's Modern Life not yet been mentioned? One of the greatest achievements of modern cartooning, in my humble opinion.

Ah, the memories.

It greatly saddens me that 8400 posts similar to this one have stained this forum at one time or another.

That happens when a coach is clueless enough to insist running an inside-out forced offense off a guy whose most effective shot is a dunk, while 3 all-star caliber players are mostly set up to shoot long-rage jumpers. To say this team's often shaky performances depend on Dwight not having a good game is utterly comical. Dwight is strong enough to let him play barreling against two defenders like a locomotive, but he doesn't have Shaq's hands. That's what Stan van Dumby can't see. Saying we need Howard to have great games for the team to win shows 95% of this board don't know what they're talking about or just starting watching the NBA yesturday. The lakers can win, and still beat other teams easily without one of their big 3 having a good day, weather it's Odom, Gasol, or as it's often the case, Bynum. Just figured I would point this out to you as well with you contradicting your point. Really we can win without one of our big three too. Look at our record. It is obvious that we were missing big games from Howard and yeah managed to win. Won without Lewis. Oh should I also mention that we were able to win with out Carter, Lewis, and a poor performance from Dwight....Or did those games this year not occur in your eyes? What are you arguing about? I said most people blame Howard if we lose,..and how I thought blaming Howard is a pathetic excuse. My point read closely this time is that a coach should win with all the talent he's been given here,..this team is so loaded it can win without one, two, or even more good players present on a given night. Just the fact the Magic have done pretty good (mostly against mediocre competion so far) with our best PF (Bass) sitting,.. this should tell you how talented we are,..We've won without Jameer also oops! you forget that one The sky can't be the Limit when your game is out of this world,..shoot beyond the stars. quote: Due to the rapid expansion of our user base (7% in the last month alone) So perfect.

    T-MAC back to Orlando?

The Official 2009 NCAA Football Thread

The fact that people choose to hate Tebow is honestly mind-blowing. In a world full of pampered, spoiled, arrogant, thugish, and cheating athletes, Tebow stands as one of the few role models people have to look up to. He is hated because he is a media darling. But why does he garner so much attention? Mainly because when he's on the field he leads his team with unparalleled passion and off the field he does everything he can to use what he has to make life better for others. Will we ever see Tebow at the center of a "Tiger Woods" scandal? No. Will he ever be caught in precarious position outside of a nightclub? No. Hate UF, fine. But if you're gonna hate Tebow you better reconsider because it simply doesn't make any sense. As a Gator I'm proud that this guy has represented my school for the last 4 years and he cared so much about the game.
  11. I was going to say the Celtics, but after seeing LeBron dancing around and acting like an idiot tonight I was reminded of my undying, passionate loathing for him and the organization he represents. Has there ever been a more ****y, arrogant, and lauded ahtlete who has never accomplished the goal by which he will ultimately be measured? Cavs.
  12. A brief synopsis of your two most recent threads preceding this one, found here and here: No one seemed to like your ideas as they were largely impossible or unfavorable for one of the teams involved. After your massive failure to understand the context of the very lyrics you brought up in this thread, I suggest you simply stop trying. Thanks.

It's truly a shame that the Bonner/Scalabrine matchup was so short-lived, I was captivated. And yes, Blair is an absolute animal.

    Please fire Ewing!

I remember one play last year where Dwight made his typical move into the middle of the lane, seemingly for his patented baby hook. Instead, he faked the hook, reverse pivoted, and scored an easy layup. I thought that was perhaps the start of something beautiful, but I have yet to see him perform anything like it since. I do think that Dwight has greatly improved in his patience and passing ability out of the post this season, but I think we had all hoped to see at least one or two new moves after all of the reassurance he gave about working on his game over the summer.
  17. Gotta say that 2nd half was the most gratifying to watch so far this season, because we finally realized that playing inside-out was what brought us success last season. Dwight has been getting a ludicrously small amount of touches recently, and it was good to see the ball going into him so frequently. Most of his decisions were good in regards to kickouts or hard takes and it was definitely better than watching the ball stagger around the perimeter when our isos fail. Hopefully we take a lesson from that, it'll definitely help keep Dwight's energy up to see the ball more on offense.

Do we need a new starting Point Gaurd?

Nelson better than Alston, Rondo or Mo Williams? Meer might not have the all around game of Rondo, but is certainly the better offensive player as of now. Also better than Mo Williams and Alston, both of whom are completely inconsistent if you watched any of the playoffs last season or any portion of their respective careers for that matter. But even if Nelson isn't better than these players and is terrible as you believe him to be, please tell me what your incessant and moronic whining will accomplish because frankly you sound incredibly uninformed to be contributing to a basketball forum. Not everyone loves Nelson, so just get over it. BTW, I am not the only one that suggests that Nelson is not up to par. You do not seem so informed to me, so shut up. Not being up to par doesn't necessitate your bashing of him in every recent thread and comparing him to worse PGs who have happened to have good games. If you watched any of last season, which I'm sure from your posts you didn't, you would know that Jameer was unquestionably our best player before his injury. He is the leader of this team and is still undoubtedly trying to work off the cobwebs from missing some 60 games of last season, as I'm sure you would be. As for other people agreeing with you, I really couldn't care less because the real fans of this team and the NBA aren't the ones saying "ZOMG bench Nelson he sucks" or "*** is VC DOING!?! This guy really is a selfish nobody" or "We held the Nets to 30 points in the 2nd half, our defense is back!!!" Sure, Mo Williams went 9/9 in the first half the other night, but I defy you to find me another game in his career where he has shot 100% from the field in a half with 8 or more FGA. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut, which I'm sure is why you may be capable of occasionally uttering something that not completely stupid, although I have yet to see it.

    Delonte West afraid to fly?

Bipolar disorder is terrible stuff, the NBA really needs to do all it can to help him get better. You'd hate to see this cut his career short in any fashion, no matter what team he's on.
