The board will be fine when the playoffs start. The regular season always drags on and there's still 11 more games to go. Plus, there is a perception that our team maxed out a couple years ago and some of the excitement is gone. It's kind of a blessing in that there has been much less trolling and spouting of nonsense recently. Most of the dedicated, intelligent Magic fans have still been around and those are pretty much the people I want to talk to anyway.

They worry me to an extent. It's really more of a desire to play Atlanta though, since there is no scenario in my mind in which they could beat us in a 7 game series. I think we'd beat NY as well, but I could see them giving us a scare.

I get pissed when Dwight doesn't get the ball for long periods... but didn't he get the ball A LOT in the 3rd? Or am I drunk? I am legitimately asking because I seem to remember we fed Dwight regularly in the 3rd but he turned it over a lot or got fouled. He hit the one hook off the hop step and shot another on the next possession, missing it. We got down big as they converted off our turnovers (not just Dwight), and as a result we had to go to the perimeter as we tend to do when we're down double digits. Pretty much what I'm wondering is: Why is THIS the game that gets people up in arms about Dwight's touches??? I can remember being pissed to high hell many other times this season about his lack of touches, but it didn't strike me tonight, regardless of what Bynum said. Am I missing something here? I'm legitimately asking, not arguing.

Lotta weird decisions by the Committee this year. UF is definitely not a #2, and if we're not hitting shots from the perimeter we're probably gonna lose in the 2nd round. Also, Colorado being left out is a complete joke, especially with UAB and VCU inexplicably getting in. Also, Sky, KState going that far is BOLD. As a KU fan (yes, they beat us this year) I watch quite a bit of the Big 12 and KState has been pretty rough. Outside of Pullen and Kelly they don't have much going on. Of course it's March Madness and absolutely anything can happen, so who's to say what the hell might happen.

I did think that charge call was pretty bad, didn't look like nearly enough contact. Usually a no call when a player drifts to the side as Meer did on that play.

If we manage to avoid NY in the 1st round and get CHI in the 2nd I'll be ecstatic.

That was the craziest **** I've ever seen. They shot 17-of-25 on 3s in the 2nd half and overtime. 17-of-25. 17-of-25 I realize we were up 21 at one point, but when a team shoots like THAT (and teams NEVER shoot like that) you take your lumps and move on. I was upset about giving up that lead until I got completely caught up in the ridiculousness of that 2nd half. Huge shots back and forth. No one blinked. Unbelievable. Incredible game to watch.

As far as I'm concerned, if you're going to blow a layup standing under the hoop with no hands up on defense, you don't deserve that call. It astounds me how terrible Artest is this year.
