After pathetically reading the last 50 pages of this thread. I whole heartedly believe that more than half of the posters on this board just read the junk that these journalists put out and dont watch the interviews for yourself... After Watching Dwight's interviews how can you be mad at this guy, he clearly wants to stay in Orlando and I have a feeling that he belives he will be here long term. If there are a couple of guys that Dwight wants to play with I say you do everything in your power to go and get them. He said it in his interview that he's not asking for superstar players, they're just good players that he believes can help us win. Otis is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant stand our Management, What a bunch of pansies letting Otis's Ego run our star player out of town. When I first read that Dwight requested a trade I was so pissed at Dwight, but after the last 2 days of interviews it's clear to me that Otis is the main problem. The Management staff should have already sent him packing. Were trying to convince Dwight to want to stay with our team and Otis is walking around ignoring him. If the owners canned him tomorrow I believe Alex could sit Dwight down and say were all ears. Who do you want? We will try our best to get them for you. Tell him to try to reach out to these players to see if they ae interested.

He knows what we went through with Shaq and for him to do it again makes him a coward in my book. If he really respected you or me as a fan he would have told us his intentions by now so we could get the best deal possible for this team. Im not loyal to Dwight, Im loyal to the Magic so if he leaves i'll boo him just as much as anyone else who comes into our building.

Defeated in the fact that he knows what Dwight is asking for he cant deliver. Here's that Common Sense thing again that Otis lacks: Why would you blow your first opportunity at National Coverage and act like a frustrated whiny baby when you are trying to draw other players here. Dont get me wrong I like when Otis shows emotion and doesn't just sit there with a blank expression on his face but he needs to learn common sense. Common sense tells me that Dwight or his agent if not both will be watching this press conference. If it looked bad to us how do you think it looked to them? Personally I think Otis looked very frustrated, tired, overwhelmed and defeated. After watching this presser I can almost tell you exactly how Otis and Dwights meeting went. Dwight probably said I feel like were not making the right moves to put us in a spot to win a Championship and Otis got defensive and said Ive done everything right and everything in my power to give you what you needed. Ultimately Dwight probably gave him an ultimatum either get the right pieces or peace.

You guys dont get it. Dwight is a top 3 player in the World and he wants the Kobe treatment. He wants to be treated like a star. Otis is trying to portray that no 1 player is more important than the others and that is what will make Dwight leave. Dwight has all these other teams begging for his service and telling him you will be the major headline in sports every night. I think if he approaches his meetings with Dwight like he did these we have no shot. Rule number 1 dont hire a former player to be a GM or Coach over a Superstar when he wasn't one himself.

I think at this point unless CP3 or Deron come out and say I want to be in orlando. We should push the issue to try and get Monta Ellis and Josh Smith or Iguodala and Josh Smith. What I think will happen is we spend all this time and efforts trying to get cp3 and once he signs with a team every other decent player on the trading blocks price is gonna go up. Truthfully I think Monta would be a great fit next to howard he attacks, can shoot, and under the right system I believe could play way better defense than VC or Jrich. The Josh Smith move would be to make Howard happy and would help us control the paint for a lot of years.
