The only thing that scares me, and why I truly believe there will be no season, is that Stern has made it quite obvious the offer the owners made last week was the best it's going to get. The players walked away from the table at the owners best offer, and the owners won't make that same offer again, it'll only get worse for the players. The sport fan in me wants them to figure it out and give us an NBA season, but the person in me struggling to get by like the rest of us and watching these billionaires and millionaires fight over who gets the personal jet with the built in seat warmers, believes they should all just go eff themselves and get off my TV...

not gonna lie.. didn't even bother reading said article, but I will say that this lockout is bad news for the league.. Billionaires figthing Millionaires for who gets to be the richest with the economy the way now will never ever look good.. The NBA will take a serious blow in a lot of aspects, and I expect the entire season to be cancelled, unfortunately

I'd say the internet is definitely your best bet.. you could probably even find some nice steals on ebay, depending on the gear you're looking for.. I'm not sure the lockout rules, but I know for sure the team store at Amway won't have any named player apparel and I think you'll be hard pressed to find named apparel pretty much anywhere in a store until this damn lockout ends.. It also appears that nbastore.com is still up and running if you wanna take that route...

Now, I'm not a VC fanboy, and I wasn't upset when we got rid of him because he never really brought it to the table with the Magic, but this theory that he's always been a garbage player is ridiculous.. and Rashard had a rough ending here, but I will always remember him thanks to the 09 finals run. His clutch 3's against Cleveland in the ECF that year are right up with Nick Anderson's steal on Jordan in my book...

Say what you want to about both Rashard and Vince Carter but I will agree (assuming those are the two you're talking about) that they are two of the best professional athletes you could ask to have on your team from a character and fan base stand point.

Yeah.. Liggins can't shoot.. or really play offense at all.. Pietrus was a great slasher (when he wanted to be, which sadly was never) and a very good 3 point shooter
