Both first round picks, with high upside.

I don't think the Hornets will be better than us
-
I think we chose mcw because he can fills multiple roles.
-
Clark may challenge Ennis to start. I see him playing well next to Gordon.
-
There is a play in this year as well. 7-10. I believe
-
I understand your position. I think we hold on to him 3 more years before leaving the situation. The Gordon trade talks hint to that thinking by management. I think back to curry's earlier years. He was always injured. What if the warriors gave up too early? I don't see this management team moving quickly. Look at fultz, they take the long road.

it is always good to have a 4th pg for the 2 way. especially with to pgs with injury history.
-
I think that is the wrong scenario. If you spent a lot of money on a car. It is your favorite car and you can not offered a new one. Plus, you are not in a position to acquire a different one. What do you do?

preexisting conditions is not something that indemnity companies want. The assurances we would have to be written into the salaried contract via bonus on games played and mins.
-
I agree. The issue is that the talent is undeniable, and we are deprived of talent.

I think the lower the term the higher the dollar amount we pay. Therefore, if we put a 1 + 1 team option. It would probably be 17 or higher mil per year. If we do 12- 15 mil. It would be a longer term like 3 or 4 years with a player option. His signing will be tricky because the most important thing a player provides is availability and he has not provided that to us. He has the most talent on the team, but if he cant stay on the court; it is pointless. The magic should learn from our past experience with grant hill. They better not break the bank on Isaac, without him showing signs of being available. No matter how much I like Isaac, if I am honest, his injuries has cost us since he has been on the team. A healthy Isaac would have changed the trajectory of past seasons and playoffs. As of now, we can not count on Isaac.
-
But it would encourage free agents to come and make us exciting. It would be the first major building block. Therefore, it would give a true foundation to build on.

Payscale has changed since steph had that contract. It maybe around 17-18 mil in today's money. Per year

1) Clark can shoot, he needs more minutes to stay in rhythm. You could see it in the playoffs when we were forced to stay with him. 2) Vuc helps fultz in the halfcourt with pick and pop. He has great hands and finishes on pick roll. Plus, he can hit 3s for spacing. 3) He is saying that shooters with good size are hard to come by...

I do want to see what okeke can do. Gordon could do more if we feature him in the offense more.
-
The direction of the team is on the backs of fultz and isaac. Isaac going down over and over has been the difference in multiple season - including last year.. If that doesn't change, we are in a bad place. If fultz become aggressive watch out. If fultz stays passive like last year, it will be same story. I like fultz. He has the tools to take us places but I don't know if he has the mindset. Management needs to give this man the keys and see were we end up. We need to max out fultz usage.

I think he earned more minutes with his play in the playoffs. I also believe that is the reason he is back and signed for 2 years.
-
Good read
-
Maybe Ennis, but I believe Clark fills a shooting need and just needs time on the court. We haven't even seen bacon, so really too early to judge.
-
Yup

Jon Teske, Magic Agree To Deal
-
Mcw signed Glad he is back. He will fit next to cole as well.
-
Even with DJ's mins, I think cole will have an impact. He fit a playmaker and scoring need. He has been groomed for the league and loves the game.
-
Me and you know that bit, but that is why I believe you see the comments.
-
They just want impactful moves and better than 1st round exit in the playoff. I understand. The moves don't move the nettle for them.
