  1. I think Dwight is gone. I do not think there is any chance of being able to convince him to stay now (thanks to the two trades Otis pulled the trigger on last season). I think Paul will only become a Knick, no chance on him going anywhere else. I think Williams would be a chance but we would have to clear a lot of cap to be able to be in the position to resign Dwight and sign Williams (which we could have done if Otis did not do both those trades). I do not think the near future is that bright for us, but still will be cheering.

Do we know what will happen with j rich?

i heard if paul goes to ny he has to give up nearly 40mil, gotta be a brave man to do that. i'd take the 40mil!

is there no way cp3 & dwight take less money to join up with us?

who else do u think we could target? i admit otis seems to have backed us into a corner.

does the amnesty situation not help us at all?

  2. Maybe realistic was the wrong word...errrrm basically i'm asking whats everyones feeling about Dwight staying??

My heart says yes myself, but my head not so much.

i dont think we will trade dwight, i think he will go into free agency & then its anybodys guess.

i also believe Paul WOULD come but can we get him?

i aint up to date on all the amnesty stuff but could that not help?

i dont think we will amnesty gil until we see how he plays this season. theres always hope lol

will we re sign j rich does anybody know?

1 thing we need straight away is a back up center & i think harper is gonna shine for us. just a feeling

    nice 1 Hibachi bro

  3. Hi guys! Finally I will be able to come over to the states to see the Magic Again.

Just a few questions for you:

    1. Do we have any realisic shot at keeping Dwight?

    2. Do you think Dwight will try & recruit CP3 Or D Will to come here?

    3. Do you think a package of Jameer/JJ/Bass or Anderson plus cash would be enough for CP3?

I hope/think that Dwight will pull off what Wade did down @ Miami. Enter free angency & recruit either of them 2 guys.

He loves Orlando & i think he wants to win it all with us.

Dwight & 1 of those 2 guys instantly makes us a contender again in my opinion. A Dwight/CP3 tandem would be scary!

  4. I'm pretty sure we'll beat the Hawks and Bulls, just uncertain about the Celtics.

1 thing for sure is we have the bigman inside so anything can happen with him on our team.

even without being bias he should be MVP.

Rather him be finals mvp though!! i think we can beat the celtics more than the heat. the whistle would favour the heat!

i would like to see more of the strech 4 in the playoffs...& i think, i mean hope Gil brings something!! jst something!!!

  5. You might not want to book that flight just yet.

LOL i'm gonna wait till after the 1st round & then book it u can count on that 1! haha

I honestly feel we will get to the East finals & if we meet the celtics we will get to the finals.

It will be all our own doing if we lose & go out. We only lose wen we beat ourselves. very rarely do u see a team destroy us!!

  6. a win is a win but that performance was poor.

****ty teams like the kings and we struggle to win.

was a very weird game to watch also.

the atmosphere was shocking & the refs were shocking.

i dont get why we only started playing with 6 to go in the fourth.

PS - FREE THROWS WAT THE HELL....WE CAN HIT 3S BUT NOT FREE THROWS.

ONLY ORLANDO MAGIC HAHA...STILL AS ALWAYS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAGIC!!!

  7. GMs Concerned over Direction of Hornets

    Posted: 3/6/2011 7:21:00 AM

Source: Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News

"The league isn't going to sell it until after the lockout," one source said. "There's no time now, not with the lockout coming in just a few months."

The league and players remain far apart on all the key issues and the current CBA expires June 30. This has the makings of a long lockout, so the Hornets could be in the league's hands for a while. That's a problem.

The league took some well-deserved flak from (Phil) Jackson and (Mark) Cuban when it allowed the Hornets to make a deal with Sacramento for Carl Landry. In the transaction, the Hornets sent cash to the Kings, along with Marcus Thornton, who is making $760,000, while taking on Landry's $3 million contract, by fitting Landry's salary into a trade exception.

It's not just the money that has a few teams up in arms over the league's ownership of the Hornets. Several GMs are already concerned with how the league will handle Chris Paul, a free agent in 2012 - namely whether they'll approve a trade that is in the best interest of the league, meaning a deal to a major market like New York; or, try to work a deal to a place like Orlando, where the league might want to see Dwight Howard remain with the Magic, who just opened a new arena this season. Howard also becomes free in 2012 and likes the idea of going to the Lakers to increase his endorsements and play with Kobe Bryant. His departure from Orlando could be as damaging as Shaquille O'Neal when he left for the Lakers in 1996.

There is speculation that the league won't want to deal Paul before it finds a new owner, since it figures to get a better price with one of the game's top players still on the roster.

  8. we were on the back to back but it is not like the team came back from the other part of the country, they played in Miami...

We were down 24 with 8 in the 3rd to go

we won the game in a emotional draining thriller & jst didnt have enough tonight.

The bulls do not impress me that much...we played so poor & lost by 8.

we shot 26% from 3 if we hit 3 more 3s we win 90-89.

    Onwars & upwards!!

  9. Once again, the loss was disappointing, as it was previously said, lot of old bad habits. Too many jumpshots, lack of ball movement, no hustle and energy. But nothing has changed, we are still 4th in the East and probably stay there. I like our chances against Atlanta and even Boston who lost Perkins and have now old O'Neal and disabled Jermaine...

Its always disappointing wen we lose thats normal. we lost due to lack of energy due to last nights thriller.

we never got blown away at all.

D rose had to take 20 shots to score 24. If we play to our potential with effort we would beat the bulls!!

let this game slide & try n nick a win against the blazers without Dwight & everything is rosey again.

  10. The magic aren't a contender anymore. They do everything wrong. With only a few bright spots here and there, everything else is horrible and embarassing to watch. This team does not play like they can win in the first round and that's scary.

We jst came off a b2b @ the heat in the most emotional game in years & we played crap tonight!!! and your sayin we AINT contenders!!

    Bull****!!!!!

We ARE contenders MINIMUM!! if ur a true fan have some faith!! to many fickle fans on this board!!

We win we r great we lose its the end of the season!! DAM!

We would beat the bulls in the playoffs In my opinion!!
