  1. It's quite possible, but we can't get complacent. Got to go one game at a time and embrace an underdog role.

I'm still convinced we are one piece away. Defensive wing that can slash (Batum? Chandler?) and/or a passing PG that just makes smart solid plays. Also a backup C.

I still like some sort of 3 way trade with NO for Kaman to get the player we need.

I know you want a proven guy but Liggins wouldn't be a bad shout.

V good defence, slashes & can hit the 3. I doubt it happens but SVG needs to give him some burn.

  2. 17 plus minutes, all 0's in the stat box, not a single point, the dude is a ghost. Pops with San Antonio pulled all his starters after knowing the game was gone to rest the starters for tomorrow night, no such thing here, though Wafer is getting some good time and numbers. Please try Hughes over Duhon for just a game or two.

Duhon is a liability for sure.

Sounds bad but would it be bad for him to get injured for a game or 2? lol

I really wanna see Liggins get some minutes, i think he is gonna be a very good player!

  3. excellent hard fought win by the boyz.

    Really really pleasing win.

Anderson & JJ derserve a massive pat on the back.

I think the zone defence we started using towards the end was a key factor also.

Dwight was frustrated all night, shows we are NOT a 1 man band like people are lead to believe.

I think maybe another backup pg & maybe a true backup center & we can go real far!

Alot of fans on this board are very fickle & quick to jump the gun. i dont care if anybody thinks we are not contenders, fact is WE ARE!

Lets look forward to another great run this year!

1 last thing i can't quite understand is why Dwight would wanna leave unless it really is just about bigger market etc etc.

We have a very very unique team & are capable of beating ANY TEAM!

    GOOOO MAGIC!

  4. this team sometimes is its own downfall. stupid bonehead things.

free throws have always been a issue and will continue to hinder us.

turnovers have been a issue today & the female ref for some reason seems to be giving 75% of the calls?

dwight needs to fix up aswell. yes he is great but if he doesnt improve free throws aswell he will never be the greatest!

    hope we win lets go!!!!!!

  5. Warriors announce Kwame Brown to undergo surgery (torn pectoral muscle), out for three months.

Hawks center Al Horford expected to be out 3-4 months with torn left pectoral muscle, source tells Yahoo! Sports.

  6. As the Orlando Magic consider deals for Dwight Howard, the Golden State Warriors have emerged as aggressive suitors for the NBA’s best center, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Golden State management is willing to take Howard as a one-season “rental,” with the hope of selling him on signing a long-term deal before he enters free agency this summer. Like most teams, Golden State has inquired with Orlando Magic general manager Otis Smith, but the Magic have yet to commit to aggressively pursuing a trade of Howard.

For the Magic to become intrigued with package, two things would likely have to appeal to them: rebuilding around young point guard Stephen Curry; and the Warriors’ salary-cap space to absorb the three years and $34 million left on Hedo Turkoglu’s contract. The possibility of the pursuit could be complicated by questions about the sturdiness of Curry’s surgically repaired right ankle. The Warriors are willing to part with either of their two guards – Curry or Monta Ellis – but teams clearly will watch how Curry recovers from his recurring ankle sprains.

  7. straight from the horses mouth:

Of course, Williams would get an extra year and $30 million on his contract by re-signing with the Nets instead of another team. He has already ruled out an extension.

“I’m sure I could make a couple more hundreds of thousands or something like that a year (on endorsements), or maybe a $1 million per year,” said the 27-year-old, who is married with four children. “But you could go somewhere in Florida or Texas and you’re not losing 8% state tax, plus you don’t have a city tax, plus the cost of living isn’t two times higher than anywhere else.
