As the Orlando Magic consider deals for Dwight Howard, the Golden State Warriors have emerged as aggressive suitors for the NBA’s best center, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Golden State management is willing to take Howard as a one-season “rental,” with the hope of selling him on signing a long-term deal before he enters free agency this summer. Like most teams, Golden State has inquired with Orlando Magic general manager Otis Smith, but the Magic have yet to commit to aggressively pursuing a trade of Howard. For the Magic to become intrigued with package, two things would likely have to appeal to them: rebuilding around young point guard Stephen Curry; and the Warriors’ salary-cap space to absorb the three years and $34 million left on Hedo Turkoglu’s contract. The possibility of the pursuit could be complicated by questions about the sturdiness of Curry’s surgically repaired right ankle. The Warriors are willing to part with either of their two guards – Curry or Monta Ellis – but teams clearly will watch how Curry recovers from his recurring ankle sprains.

Dwight Howard on Orlando's win Sunday: “We never panicked. It kind of reminded me of the team that went to the Finals." that is a very big statement there. i wouldnt look to much into it but that says alot!!

dwight just has to give derozan 1 hard hard foul & he wont wanna be near the rim again. aslong as we dont get over confident and complacent we will win....

the perfect scenario for me personally would be for us to make some trades and somehow get d will and iggy with us. a line up of d.will redick iggy anderson dwight that would be a very very good team that would challenge for a championship in my opinion. a dream i know but well...

if dwight could hit some more free throws he would be a very very very dangerous man! i know its early days but his free throws do look worse in my opinion..... apart from that he is playing great right now.

also we are shooting 40% from the free throw line..... terrible i thought dwight had got better? he got worse so far.......
