    NBA Finals: Celtics VS Lakers

Those two teams has sth that we dont have. They play POISED in big games. We dont. The only game I remember Orlando playing posessed in an important series was G6 against Cavs last year.

    Magic ''Anticipate'' Keeping Carter...

Courtney Lee is 5 times better than JJ, in my opinion. He is better defender, better slasher and his jump shot will progress a lot in his career. JJ is only better in the 3pt attempts, but that is it. I think Redick will be a career back up, while Lee may be a one time All Star someday.

I think it NEVER HAPPENED that the host went out in the 1st round. Dont you guys remember the robbery from Korea against Italy and Spain in 02?

    NBA Finals: Celtics VS Lakers

quote: I like how the media changes so frickin much. After the first round - Cleveland is unstoppable. After the second round - Orlando is unstoppable. After the conference finals - Boston is unstoppable and the best defense ever. Now it's "Boston has no chance and it was the Lakers all the way". Of course: The media pick the winners. We all know that. There should be less journalist and more working people. They get paid to pick? Like Simmons, who said "there is no way in hell Boston can make it through the 1st round!" Unbnelievably lucky this guys are

    NBA Finals: Celtics VS Lakers

quote: The old celtics can't defend the ball movement of lakers. This is exactly what we were missing in that series: ball movement. When Dwight had the ball down low all by himself, thats where the celtics were best of. Attacking inside and looking for the teammates, that's why this lakers team is so hard to defend. The celtics bench is weak and they just dont have enough men to play. Interesting to see what they will reponse to G1 The Lakers have sth nobody else has: 3 Great Big Men The combination of Gasol, Bynum and Odom is unstoppable for anyone else. We saw it last year. Now Boston is witnessing it. Thats why they outrebound everybody so easily and they win the battle in the paint. Then you throw Kobe, Artest, the "New Horry" Fisher, and that coach, and pretty much you have an "Invincible team".

WOW! In one day, Drogba and Ferdinand OUT ! Unbelievable...Now Ivory Coast let Portugual and Brazil get through easy. England wont have trouble winning their group, but I think their chances for a long run are hurt by this. 3 Strong Candidates remaining: Spain, Brazil and Argentina If Spain does not win this one, then they wont ever win the WC.
  8. I would go for it in a minute... I think major upgrade over Bass and RA.

    The Closer: Agent 0? Updated 6/1 pg5

I would like a game-changer Arenas can be a game-changer. But it could work out awesome as it could be hell. I would prefer a cheaper up and coming SG, if we could choose. Also, if Redick leaves, it will leave us with Nelson, Carter and Arenas in the backcourt. Would that be good? I dont know. All we know is Arenas might be an older injured Nate Robinson

    Best Player to Compliment Howard

You have to think about an up and coming player, not one who is already a star (LeBron, Wade, Paul, Deron, etc.) Kind of like when T-Mac joined this team. He averaged 15ppg, then boom, he exploded. You have to make a bet, and then hope it works out. None of the players mentioned will realistically come to the Magic due to their salary demands, except a genius trade by Otis. So the idea is to propose an up and coming player, and not an already there kind of guy. Personally I would pick a SG, the position that hurt our team the most the last couple of seasons. But a young PG could also be fundamental. I would go with the following options: SG - Leandrinho, Beaubois and Brewer PG - Dragic and G. Hill

All-Star team of absents: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/w...p?cc=3888&ver=global I think Zanetti and Cambiasso should not be there, since time and time again they have proven they are not capable of providing the same performances that they do on Inter wearing the National Shirt. Plus Inter Milan plays like cowards, with everyone defending. Argentina will most certainly dont play like that. Also Essien (with a recent injury), Benyaoun, Falcao and Ronaldinho are missing in my opinion.

Western Conference Finals: 1. Lakers vs. 3. Suns

GORAN DRAGIS looks like the "Real Deal" He reminds me of what Manu did when he was young in the league. He is playing poised at the most important time of the year. His move on (I hate you) Fisher was just spectacular.

    Bosh's 5 preferred teams

I think the Bulls will be scary if they get LeBron & Bosh They could be Noah Bosh LeBron Deng Rose That is the best starting 5 I could see in my whole life. Then again, I dont know the salary cap situation. Heat could look O

    Kenny Smith just said..

Kenny Smith is to the Orlando Magic what Scott Norwood is to the Buffalo Bills = The beginning of the bad luck. His 3pt in G1 in 95 Finals started it all. Then Swept by Jordan happened... Then Shaq bolting happened... Then Penny revolting happened... Then Reece Gaines and Jeryll Sasser happened... Then T-Mac guarantees happened... Then Grant Traitor's ankle happened... Then 21-61 happened... Then Pistons over and over again happened... Then Fran Vazquez happened... Then Derek Fisher happened... Now KG turning back 25 and 2008 Pierce and Allen is happening... Then 21-61

    "Chokingest Cities"

This could only increase our players and fans morale... "4. Orlando. Just because a city has only one major professional sports franchise doesn't mean it doesn't rank among the biggest gaggers of all in my book. Young Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway were on to something big early-on against the Houston Rockets in the 1995 NBA Finals. But then Nick Anderson missed four free throws in the final 10 seconds of regulation in Game 1. It was painful to watch. Had he made just one, the Magic would have avoided overtime. Instead, they lost that game 120-118, and ultimately the series. A few years later, young Tracy McGrady was talking about how nice it was to reach the second-round of the NBA playoffs. There was one problem. The Magic were up only 3-1 over the Pistons in the series and, you guessed it, lost three straight. T-Mac is still waiting to advance to the second round. And now there are the Magic of young Dwight Howard. Will they make a return trip to the NBA Finals? And if they do, will they prevail or fall short like they did against the Lakers last season? For now, they remain fourth on my list thanks to those earlier pratfalls. "

    Cavs fire Mike Brown

quote: I don't think Magic fans realize how rare it is to have a superstar like Dwight who accepts public criticism from his coach w/o pouting. When in Sports it is logical to have a PLAYER that does not obey his coach's orders? I am not saying it has not happened. Penny, Shaq, LeBron, it happens in every sports and in every circumstances. But dont you think this is the WAY IT SHOULD BE, and not the other way around? I mean, accepting the coach decisions is imperative for the players. Coach outranks players. If not, what is the point of having one?
