I am GSW fan, but better team won, Lebron earned thisone. GSW wasnt playing their best, and dirty plays from Green through the playoffs were really something that made me think less of them. Hope they recover fast and put up an even better season and get it done next year.

Could say the same about the players, this is their 2nd coach, and they are still unmotivated. 3rd coach wont suddenly turn them into something else. It's players not the coach. And this summer moves will be pretty telling if our management believes that too or not. I wouldnt be surprised if half our team is gone next year.

I think they call this a 'deflection', which is always mentioned together with EP and Vic as something they are very good at, and not necessarily reflected in the Steal column. You can probably find it among more advance stats where they track them. I believe steal goes go to the person that gets the possession of the ball.

Great finish! Our offense stalled a bit at times late in forth, but our defense helped us seal the game. That's how we are gonna win games!

Skiles said team did not put much/any emphasis on last second plays yet.We have few standard plays and thats it. Focus for this team is still on learning defensive schemes. I agree with this approach, we are focusing on ourself and defense that will help us night in and night out. Time to practice some more fancy last second plays will come, but we are not there yet.

If we play as good as we did in last 2 games, I think we got this easily. Looking at the way Chicago played so far, our default game plan will counter them nicely. Cant wait to see what 3rd game brings. in first game, it was Mario and Aaron that made a big difference, and in 2nd one it was our starters that controlled the game for most of the night. I have also been really impressed with Vuc. Dring summer, everyone talked about how he cant play defense, and he has shown a lot so far. Yes they exploited us with Westbrook, but I wouldnt blame that on Vuc, we just werent prepared to defend that high pick&roll.

For sure, when I was watching AG in OKC game, those drives / drawing fouls looked perfect. Absorb impact and draw foul together with a shot attempt. I think what Vic is doing is that he sees defender getting in position, so instead of going right at them, he makes an adjustment and tries to aviod the defender. That causes him to lose the direction, and then obviously he cannot draw foul, and instead just goes flying together with a bad shot attempt. I think if AG will continue to draw fouls like that, it will show Vic how to do it effectively himself too. He just needs to start reading defense better and go right at them instead of going around them, once he reaches the rim area. I think he will figure it out, if there is one thing you can be sure about Vic is that he will put in hours until he will master it.

How many we did we win? We obviously didnt go 0-15 when we were leading or tied. Dont think its realistic to expect to win most of these 15 even with better coaching. But I agree its a big room for improvement there.

For reference, Golden States best defensive lineup according to this stat is around 160th place if I counted right. And they are supposed to be decent I heard. So much about this stat.

Wow at all of you debating if Rob wanted or didnt want Mario. We didnt have 1 or 2 guys that we were interested in, but a lot more. Do you seriously think if Towns somehow got to pick #5, we wouldnt pick him? Draft is a list, not 1 or 2 players. We had our list, and when our time came, we looked at the top of our list and got the guy. Of course we are not gonna say to Mario, sorry you were our 2nd, 3rd or 5th choice in the draft. Only relevant thing is that he was the guy we wanted when it was our turn. Some of you just seem to look for some kind of drama instead of enjoying the fact we got an awesome player, who will hopefully love the Magic and Orlando city more than you do. Stop playing the what if game and enjoy the moment and results as they are. There is no going back and changing anything.

Gotta agree, I think if we start today, it would be Vic/Fournier starting in PG/SG positions. However by the time season starts, Payton might already prove himself to be a starter and we will see Payton/Vic instead.

I think you guys are just haters, Exum had a pretty sweet game. He pretty much got quadruple double with his 2/6 fg, 2 rebounds, 2 fouls, 3 turnovers. Also was very effective on defensive end, opponents starting guards only got to shoot 58% (7/12), which is not even that much higher then rest of their team shot (40%). Definitely a solid performance, we can only hope Payton will pick up his game and get to Exums level by the time preseason camp starts!

Thanks for posting, nice read! This will be a great team to watch on defensive end too once again, cant wait for training camp and some preaseason games to start. I think this will be first time in few years I'll be getting league pass again to watch our team play!

I dont like comparing anyone to Rondo, because of his terrible attitude, but in terms of being a triple double threat every night, definitely. I was thinking what player he reminds me off, and Id have to say Skip (Alston) comes to mind. At least on offensive end, on defense he's better and with his size also better rebounder.
