Im hoping for Mo to have same sort of impact that Isaac had on our defense, and that we will play better as a team when hes on the floor. If he can stay healthy whole year its gonna be a fun year watching them play together.

Man, when was the last time we were so excited about 2 new guys while we had another guy like AG. Guess it would be year when we had AG,EP and Vic. I think its realistic to expect similar results that we got under Skiles which was our best recent year. Also I have been really impressed with Clifford so far, the way he talks and coaches.

With each move Weltman is turning nothing into something. Hope he continues working this way, and doesnt get pressured into doing some desperate moves. Few years from now, we will have assets and options to make good moves, like Boston does now.

Definitely not trading him for average/below average player. needs to be a move that will make us better, not same. If its not part of a trade for a prospect or some draft picks, doesnt make sense to trade.

We have no idea what our front office is thinking or considering. This is only a hypothetical bad move, which might not even be a bad move in first place. Just because you wanted it, doesnt mean it goes with our plans.

I think it would be much better to trade Simmons to someone who would give up first round pick for him. Then when we get to the point to possibly sign Rozier we have both caps space and an extra first round pick. Better than: a) trading Simmons+picks for Rozier or b) just waiting for Rozier to become RFA We need to keep making positive moves, thats how you get into position where Boston is. Luckily for us Weltman is doing exactly this so far. Making good moves where we are in better position afterwards longterm.

Honestly, this summer league roster would give our last years team run for its money.We look like a proper team, we are starting to see what our management is trying to build. There are no bad contracts to deal with in summer league, just guys that fit the philosophy. Also impressed with our coaching staff, comments from players are all very encouraging. Clifford and his coaching staff are very detail oriented on both ends of the flloor and guys seem to be responding well to it.

Guys, whoever is disappointed, you have to remember that pieces that we used here in no way at all impact our chances of signing another player. Actually gives us some extra money this year. Whoever we wanted to sign we still can. Also all trades we discussed are still available. We moved a piece noone even proposed in any trades, and got a player that we can confidently play some minutes at PG. This trade has no negative impact on our future FA signings and trades this or future off seasons. It only makes as less desperate to fill PG hole. Win win.

Wingspan definitely cant hut, never heard anyone say that someone would be a better defender if they had a bit shorter arms.

Guess they didnt get the memo that our defense sucks even more. Commentators on our local TV were all surprised we picked a center, since we already have Vuc and Biz. Most people outside of Orlando have no idea what roster holes we have. Having few centers doesnt mean we want to use any of them as core pieces long term.
