    SG spot

    SG spot

    CLee is being an awesome surprise, and I really appreciate what he brings on the table. Kudos to the scouting department this time. But... anyone thinks that, like Rondo in Boston, Lee is a product of the system in which he plays? Would he be that good in another team without a monster center and a ton of shooters opening the opposite defense?

    If it's confirmed, it's another big in their rotation and maybe there're more possibilities to have one of their PF. We'll see.

    ECF First Quarter Grades:

    On a side note, altough is still too soon to give a complete grade, look at how has changed the perception over Philly and Toronto. A big addition didn't always translate in a better season... only ESPN didn't notice that!

    The best thing of the game IMO is that we've win it quite easily without even playing at 100% of our possibilities (at least on offense) Our 3 point shooting was terrible, but we still managed to control the game making the small things. Let the Meer > Tony Parker Longoria talks begin... seriously, it's only one game, and Parker it's better than that, yesterday he was totally off, afraid to take any shot, something strange on him. I can't wait for the Lakers now... quote: Originally posted by Skywise316:Stan Van Gundy. (Cook over Battie? Really? C'mon now. It's like now that you've finally figured out that Gortat deserves a spot in the rotation, you just had to do this so forum members had something to b**ch about. Intangibles mean something! However you were smart enough to give Dwight and Jameer rests late in the 3rd quarter instead of early in the 4th, thank goodness. Because of that at least Jameer was on the floor when Dwight got his 5th foul, so he was in position to take the game over. And yanking Bogans on the few occasions he gets lazy on D gets bonus points with me, especially when Courtney Lee is the alternative! So some bad coaching, and some good. You could tell SVG really wanted this one.) Not playing Battie against the slowest team of the league is something that I can't get, but as you said, he tooks other good decisions and we're winning a lot of games, so I better shut up!

    Sometimes he still makes bad decisions, but Meer is really playing like a floor leader in the last few games.

    A sloppy start and a poor end in the half, surrounded by a good game. I really hope we come out focused and we don't left the lead slip away as always, SA could be dangerous in a tight game.

    improbable trade idea(we all have 'em)

    quote: Originally posted by Skywise316:If Okur for Turk meant Lewis could go back to the SF while still spreading the court with Okur, I'd do it. I mean, Okur's no softer than Hedo on D, and Rashard goes back to where he belongs. I've tried to sell this idea a few days ago, but nobody buy on it. It's not the better fit by any means (Okur is not a banger or great rebounder) but at least he's the size, can shoot the three (so we don't have to change our system) and has a history of buzzer beaters (Mr. Fourth Quarter) Problem is: as Hedo he could opt out this summer, so he would be only a loan (altough he agreed in a extension before the trade)

    Where in the World is Milovan Rakovic?

It's a low cost high yield experiment that could pay high dividends. Could you use that same argument, then, for Fran? No, cause he'll be pairing with Cookie... :=)

BTW, who's Otis Thorpe???? :=)
  23. Thanks for the translation. I really hope we can fid a way to keep him, but it would be difficult. If he'll play a lot of good minutes, he'll ask for more money than we can pay. And if he doesn't find a spot in the rotation, he would search for another team (NBA or Europe). Either way, we're probably going to lose him, and it's a shame.

I was following The Warlock a lot of time before he start playing for the Magic, and he was an awesome player here in Europe, and a very spectacular one. So, I'm not so impressed for his late performances, cause I've already seen what is capable to do. Altough training with Dwight (and bears) has elevated his game to another level. quote: Originally posted by Marc Acres 3:16:Don't worry about that Luke, honest mistake. Thanks to all for the props, and LOL to Kberto. Next time you'll make a game thread, I'll looking for your effort!!! :=)
