I was with you even earlier with the Gary Harris thing, he could offer a good balance, sometimes he should be even considered more when he's in the corner waiting for a pass. It's the first season that he's finally quite healthy after a long run of problems, so next season he could be even better and be back to the player he was earlier. The point for me is the Franz/Paolo thing. They're clearly the best talent we had in a long time, but at this point it's too early for me to say they'll be both superstars (or a superstar and a perennial all-star) that is what is needed if we want to be a contender. So, it's all a work in progress, we have to see how they develop, a lot of things could happen, but I hope that FO doesn't stay inactive in the meantime.

Great effort, really enjoying those last games. Too bad the season is finishing and that we found the consistency a little too late.

I doubt that was even possible, pretty sure that the Nets has him as a key asset to start the trade discussion.

Magic vs Pistons - Sun., April. 2nd @ 6 pm

Thought the same when I saw. The good part is that he seem more and more secure in the other facets of his game, and also phisically with the dunks. Hopefully that security will reflect also on 3's. We don't need him to be a top shooter, but every inch of improvement would help him and the team mightly.

I agree, there was an interesting Lowe article recently describing the process. Also kudos to Dallas management in the Brunson/Irving choice! :P

Interesting to know, I didn't considered it, I was thinking that the play-in wasn't affecting the seed. Well, we tried. We're in april with a little little hope still, that was a big improvement than in previous seasons. We could have done better in the start of the season (even only by signing a close gap PG) and win a few more in february/first half o march, but that's what we got.

Magic at Wizards - Friday, Mar. 31st @ 7:00 PM

Good IQ helps him to see the right pass on offense too and make the team work better, with right decisions on P&R sets too. Definitely worth a look for a backup C role that has been a problem for most of the season. Moe and Bol shouldn't play at C and we've seen the difference now in second units.

Beal missing one third of the season doesn't help, we aren't the only ones with injury troubles.

I apologize if I given you that sensation, but if you read my message back, it was only a confirmation of what CT wrote, and I was actually pointing out the general situation of the forum (I imagine not only the Orlando Magic one, all fans probably do the same) in hoping to get superstar players for "cheap". I've actually mentioned Jaylen cause was one of the most recent ones, but every season and every year there's such a (normal) tendency. I'm convinced your proposal would not be enough for Dallas, not even close, but I could clearly be wrong. To pry Doncic from them right now they would probably need the assurance of the n1 pick to take Wemb, and who knows if they value him enough? Without him included, more picks, or specifically more talent (Wagner or Banchero) would be necessary IMO.

Magic vs Grizzlies - Tues., Mar. 28th @ 8 pm

Good thing: we fought back. Bad thing: we should have never create such a big hole against a Memphis team that was severely undermanned. For all the problems we had in the past with health, in the last couple months that hasn't be a big issue, and almost every team we played had a worst situation than us. We should have approached the game with more killing instinct.

We won a few games in a row before your new prediction!!! Admins, please ban him! LOL JK

About the first line, I love how almost all trades proposed in the forum doesn't include our key players, same happened with Jaylen and others, as we're able to get superstars without giving up our best talents at all. I agree about the second part too, and actually could be better for us (in the hipothetical dream) as we'll hopefully look a lot more competitive and enciting for other players in a season or two.

Actually I was asking myself why he was getting so much minutes recently... When he was on fire... we should have traded him! :P

Absolutely this, it's a few games that I'm repeating that concept, even if it's probably meaningless for standings, would be great for the development of the group. Like that we're playing guys that maybe other times FO would have shut down with little injuries. Too bad that they weren't so convinced on the start of the season, if we had recovered Fultz before, or even signed a backup... and too bad we didn't make a little streak on february too, now we would be in a really interesting situation.

Would consider it after receiving assurance about the interest in signing an extension. In our situation, is a tricky moment cause we're young and we show glimpses, but not sure we're enticing enough for top tier talent.

Klay passing is not really his best ability, so how bad is the rookie one? ;)

I would like to keep him too, but only if other moves to balance the roster are made, impossible to live in the actual NBA with 2/3 players that are bad from the 3's and other average ones. For the other longterm choices, there's still a little time to evaluate, but clock is ticking and decision will be needed, hope FO doesn't believe that there's enough internal development to confirm anyone and stay put.

Odds in finishing 5th or 7th are not that different, and we need a winning environment and mentality for next season, go on with the next game and hopefully a W!

Magic vs Knicks - Thurs., Mar. 23rd @ 7 pm

Love the fact that both the team and the FO hasn't given up on the season, love the fight even if the price is unlikely to be reached. Will be useful for next season and to grow as a group. Too bad we weren't able to win a couple more games in february/start of march, would have been an even more interesting end of season.

Magic vs Wizards - Tues., Mar. 21st @ 7 pm

Harris has been our best 3p shooter by a long margin, but he needs the rest of the team to work and assist him, cause he has a low usage and he didn't create much for himself. Good W, I hope that we can stay consistent at least with the starting lineup until end of season, and learn that every W is important (lesson for our core future) even if the hopes for the play-ins are almost no-existent at this point. Would still be good to not be mathematically out of it on April. Small targets.

Magic vs Wizards - Tues., Mar. 21st @ 7 pm

I fear that we missed the play-in train a couple weeks ago (in the 4 game homestanding) but we are having continuity with the starting lineup and we shouldn't think of Portland or everything else. Just focus on the W.

Magic at Clippers - Saturday, Mar. 18th @ 3:00 PM

74% on the season, maybe suck is a bit too much? :P He'll improve there too, as long as def and 3's that are priorities as we were discussing recently. Good W on the road, as another poster wrote, somehow we tend to play better againt better teams. Even if i've no idea of what the LAC were thinking when they signed RW.

Pretty good game and effort, but unfortunately it's another loss, and Phoenix was coming from a 3 game losing streak at home.

Magic at Spurs - Tues., Mar. 14th @ 8:00 PM

There's a big difference for sure, but there's also a big difference on overpaying a vet who contribute in the short term, but is out of our age window for contending. Or one that is not really worth the overpay. At this point we have no veterans of the cheap kind at all, and we seem to lack leadership too. I'm not sure I would go to the FVV route (or other similars choices) just for adding that. Standards shouldn't be driven only by players paid a lot. And yes, I agree with All Eyes on Me that coaching is part of the problem, pointed that multiple times. Actually, even if we've good young talent, we also seem to have multiple problems to solve.
