I like how Gordon could easily now surpass Andrew Wiggins.  I remember going nuts for wanting Wiggins but knew that if Gordon could somehow learn to dribble and shoot, he'd have the highest ceiling of all.

Gordon is the gem of that draft class now.

Not quite, but he's holding down his draft position for sure, which is a win for our drafting tbh.

  2. It's probably been said 100 times already, the key to this season not being a disaster is whether Mo can adjust to the NBA marathon this year (or will it take 2?) and whether Isaac can stay healthy and contribute.  If either/both of those things don't happen then we are going to be the same team we've been the past few years, except with worse passing and hopefully less bad defense.

Things that should be happening this season:

    - Making Gordon the #1 option on offense. You can't expect him to become great if he doesn't get the reps. He needs to be unleashed like Oladipo was in Indiana.

    - Seeing Isaac, Gordon & Bamba on the court at the same time.

I'm not optimistic about either of those. Coach Clifford hasn't inspired any confidence

I agree with the B-I-G comment like everyone else.  Gordon was 5-17, he's getting the reps, he just can't convert the attempts.   He's not nearly efficient enough to be a top offensive option.  Yet.

It's the same ole same ole.  Without Nik putting up solid numbers this is another blowout for the other guys.  It's preseason, sure, but we've read this chapter already.

  4. We appear to still have the same issues we've had for the past few years.  As much as we look forward to a lineup without Nik we need someone capable of replacing his point production.  Until we get more frontcourt offense we will be fed a steady diet of Nik-whiches. We keep hoping Gordon is the answer, just like we keep hearing about he's due for a breakout.  It is what it is.

28-29 is usually when it hits

It isn't linear though.  He matured early, he could top out early.  He has an injury history.  He's inconsistent.  I'm not saying he won't keep improving until then, it's just not likely that you can project anyone accurately 6 years out.  It would obviously be great if it worked out.

We're like 6 years away from hitting that mark and, even if he exceeds all expectations, it's incredibly unlikely that he'd be on the team then. If only because its rare for guys to spend 10 years on one franchise.

Guess we'll have to worry for the next 10-12 years until we find out lol

He's incredibly athletic, it would be nice if we didn't have to worry about it for 6 years.  I'm not sure how realistic that is, but am hopeful.

So, maybe it’s because I am in Jersey and there are good pizza places pretty much everywhere, but I didn’t think Blaze was all that good.

Pretty cool that they can churn out a custom pizza for you very quickly though.

Maybe I am just easy to please, I like getting things made to order on the quick.  I don't need the best ever X each time I eat out.

I tried this weeks ago with TMF. It's not going to work. Sees every bit of constructive criticism as a personal attack. Massive persecution complex.

While she can come across extra at times I stand by her principle to not be pressured into a collective thought that goes against her beliefs.  I wish there was less expectation of people to change what they say or believe based on popular/loud thought, ie social media etc.

It would be more meaningful if she didn’t resort to the victim card though.  That’s lame.
