We have to protect our Franchise guy and I think that is something Bass can bring to the table. Imagine if Dwight was a wing player and got hammered like he does?!? If anyone else took some of the hits Dwight takes on a nightly basis they would be out more games then they played every year. So Bandon, beg a coach to take you under their wing, look to Patrick Ewing first. Learn the Magics system and when given the opportunity show everyone why you deserve minutes. Again Gortat being gone will greatly benefit Bass just as much as RA. Bass should see some time at Center I would think depending on match ups. Daniel Orton is only 6'8 granted he has a huge wingspan but he will be our backup center so I can see Bass getting minutes at the 5 as well with Gortat gone. Good job. +1

Wow, I'm not even going to read through this thread. It's beyond stupid. JJ Redick over Vince Carter? Based on ONE game. It's so sad to see all these moron "fans" turn their backs on Vince because of one horrible shooting night. Before this little mini slump he was putting up 20+ almost every night, and is the most dynamic scorer the Magic have had since T-Mac. But oh noez, one bad night and we need to put in the Dookie.

We would've already won the NBA title if we had Hedo.

Please Stan, I'm tired of seeing terrible rebounding and defense from the four spot. Your love of 3 point shooters is getting absurd. Anderson did well as a starter, but since going to the bench he's been kinda worthless outside of an occasional three.

The thing is, this team has to realize that we are going to get the oppositions best effort EVERY night. We have a target on our back after going to the Finals, and if we don't play with intensity while the other team does....you see these results. We have a rough schedule coming up, a lot of good teams coming to Amway (Portland, Utah, Houston, Boston). We could easily lose all four of those games.

With losses to Cleveland, Miami x2, OKC, Utah, and Phoenix. The only loss to a sub .500 team was Detroit. Plus it's not like this team has been impressive against those losing teams, we had to come from down 17 to beat the Pacers.
