Magic going in for Chris Paul

Paul George is a Danny Granger clone, I'm not saying he is the next Granger, but has loads of upside. I think, with this trade, NO is a better team even with a healthy Paul. Plus they have multiple first round picks from ORL and IND coming their way. PG: Collison (ford) SG: VC (thornton) SF: George (peja/wright) PF: West (songaila) C: Gortat (FA?) Peja would prob start, but George would eat up more minutes as the season goes on. No need to get into why ORL or IND would do this deal. I think its obvious for both of these teams. I think in 761 pages, this is the most realistic trade for all teams involved that I've seen yet (the one on pg. 760). I know Indiana's high on Paul George, but not high enough to pass on Jameer Nelson I wouldn't think. Get on the phone, Otiz~! I had thought about this one too, doubt we get george and a 1st from indy tho, but if we can get george then it makes total sense for NO since sf and c are the only positions they dont have established talent or good young developing talent currently on the roster.

Magic going in for Chris Paul

If Paul really wants to come to Orlando, his agent/camp could let other teams know that Chris will opt out if he goes to that team. Basically a team Chris doesn't want to be at will dismantle their young core to get him and then have Paul walk after two years. This then leaves said team up ****s creek IMO and would hopefully scare them away giving the Magic that much more of an advantage. we can also get him extended as part of the trade too. I don't know if that happens though. i thought u couldnt extend a contract until one year before they can become a FA. that being said if we got cp3 then im pretty sure both him and howard would extend both their contracts next summer

    Paul wants out (with link)

yay! another paul thread(im not being sarcastic). if its like realgm tells it, knicks/lakers/magic then we get him bc they aint got **** for assets

Anybody think CLE will be a playoff team without Lebron? 2011 picks are practically worthless outside of the top 5. Should be worse depth wise than this past one. I'm sure we'll get a few surprise guys who's stock shoots up but 2012 is where its at. The only two guys who'd be of any worth to us from the 2011 draft would be jan vessely and harrison barnes Perry Jones, Brandan Knight, Kyler Singler, Kemba Walker, Elias Harris. Yeah, it's a weak draft though. LOL Singler in the NBA if we could take the higher of their two picks(one will def be in the top ten) and either select or move up to get perry i would be ecstatic.

Minny isn't really helpin Miami, they will now pay the big 3 more and have to fill another roster spot with a scrub.

Yea Dwight is gonna leave and go to okc bc that will be the only chance he has to win titles. As for harington could we be gettin him bc were on the verge to tradin Lewis for arenas? It would be extremely redundant otherwise

if we do get paul/ok4/posey for vc, nelson, tpe (maybe pick) then would we be better suited saving our remaining assets and making a run at melo at the trade deadline? he's gonna leave regaurdless, we would have a package of gortat/anderson/redick(@roughly 4 mill/yr)/peaches/bass/whoever we sign with MLE/picks to deal with, were in the eastern conference, i mean why not Paul anyone melo shard dwight 5 straight championships...

    Update from Three Separate Sources

yea another thing to worry about is if these teams w/$ strike out in FA, then cant they just take back these contracts, ship out a pick or two and pick up paul? if this trade was on the table then otis has to pull the trigger, soon!

i got it all figured out what otis is doin. he already has agreed to trade vc, nelson for paul, ok4 but is keeping it quiet. then hes gonna trade a resigned jj(4 mil/yr), and gortat for a resigned boozer (11 mil/yr). resign barnes, then get foye/watson(combo guard) for most of the mle, signing a vet sg with the remaining portion. leaving us with paul, foye peaches, foye/vet lewis, barnes, robinson boozer, ok4, anderson d12, ok4, orton roughly 87 in payroll but titles rollin in nonstop. otis is the man!

finally gettin in on this. if bosh goes houston, lebron goes clips, then gimme watson and call it bc we got the east
  14. speakin of which, how many seats will the new amway have? thought the increase in seats was supposed to bring in extra revenue either way this makes little difference to me since i cant make it down for many games but id be pissed if i was a season ticket holder, that essentially adds 400 dollars to the cost
