Lewis seems like such a nice young man. It's not his fault that the Magic organization dangled that money in his face. I suppose he should have turned it down. Right? (I am winking with my eye) I was joking, lol. In fact, as the "new kid on the block", it would've been a nyce gesture if he paid for it after that PHAT contract. Seems to me like someone is an "itty, bitty" jealous. Tell me something Nyce, if you won the lottery for $120 million dollars, would you share it with your entire family (I'm talking about all of them...mother, father, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents)?

As I said before, some of the guys would probably ignore our posts if they knew a female made the comment. I think they don't want to be embarrassed if it was determined that the (female's)comment was correct--especially if the comment was challenged by a guy.

    NBA vs. The World

It has been said that the World (foreign basketball leagues) have caught up with the NBA, and foreign leagues have become as good or better than the NBA league. Since this is unargurably true: Why do NBA teams draft foreign players, then leave them overseas to play for a foreign league; yet, they (the NBA team) continue to have rights to the foreign player that they drafted?

O-o-o-h...I'm going to tell my mommy! In all seriousness, I agree with Live or Die Magic,"In all seriousness, if a woman chooses to change her font color, that is her choice". In a recent post, I used pink because I was fooling around with Mr. Charisma. He suggested that females use a color like pink. If women start using a color, some men might ignore our comments as Osprey jokingly suggested...(I'm winking with my eye)...ha,ha!

Remember...Saturday you said that you were going to clean your pool after I criticized you for revisiting a topic.? Well, when Cutestory made the comment,"Plus Ariza can practice resting his 'johnson' on players heads in practice with him (Foyle)around", I thought he was talking about a brand of basketball shoes (like "Nike"). I did a GOOGLE search for it under the topic "basketball", and I could not find the definition anywhere? LMAO, are you being serious? 15. quote: Oakley played in one all-star game (1994). His career was marked by his aggressive defense, his tenaciousness and hustle around the basket, and his willingness to use force. NO-O-O-O-O!!! Please, no Oakley! I didn't like him when he played with teams like the Knicks. Oakley was all of the above, but he was also mean and had a temper. A player can be aggressive and tenacious around the basket and not have a volatile temper. We don't need to have the type of team that instigates fights.

I remember the Magic getting torched by Chris Bosh last season, and to me, he always seemed to be playing in slow motion.

    Magic Nation Theme Song?

SONG: "KNOCK ON WOOD" Hey members, after I saw SmackDaddy's signature I came up with this idea for the Magic Nation's theme song . Smack's signature is of Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis (referred to as "Thunder and Lightning"-See Below). I was able to locate this song "Knock On Wood", which was recorded by Amii Stewart in 1979. ONE VERSE OF THE SONG GOES LIKE THIS: "I'm not superstitious about ya But I can't take no chance You got me spinnin', baby You know I'm in a trance 'Cause your love is better Than any love I know It's like THUNDER, LIGHTNING" (Sound of Thunder)[/b]... To view the Youtube video of Amii Stewart singing "Knock On Wood", click on the following link: P-L-E-A-S-E LISTEN TO THE MUSIC!!!...DON'T BE SO CRITICAL OF MISS STEWART!!! I have also included the full lyrics below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9BlvQ1JgXc&mode=related&search= LYRICS: "KNOCK ON WOOD" FANS: I don't want to lose you This good thing That I got 'Cause if I do I will surely, surely lose a lot 'Cause your love is better Than any love I know It's like thunder and lightning (Sound of Thunder) TEAM: The way you love me is frightening You better knock, knock on wood, baby FANS: I'm not superstitious about ya But I can't take no chance You got me spinnin', baby You know I'm in a trance 'Cause your love is better Than any love I know It's like thunder, lightning (Sound of Thunder) TEAM: The way you love me is frightenin' You better knock, knock, knock on wood, baby FANS: Think I better knock, knock, knock on wood (Drum Rolls) Think I better knock, knock, knock on wood

Orlando Magic vs Other NBA Player Matchups

I know that Lewis is not thought of as a defender, but he is very quick, tall and has great agility, This if nothing else enables him to play Defense anywhere, accept the point, which I also agree is our weak position, especially on defense, although coaching could remedy this, If jameer would use his body more, and get more physical, like barron davis's game, it would greatly improve his game, this is simply Jameer using his body build to his advantage. but back to the point our team is getting more and more versatile, (able to use many different looks, against different teams)And with a coach that knows how to, and is not too stubbourn to do this things will be much different. Thank you, too, magicfreak for answering the question that I asked about "Matchups" for this coming season in the front court

Thank you Murphy. So far, you are the only one who has given me a proper response to my question. I did not ask anything about Point Guards. My question is about the "front court". Last season, other teams said they did not have to change their game plan every time they played the Magic. So, my question is: 1. Because of the new additions to our team, and scoring help, will our new style of play affect the other NBA centers or power forwards' performance because they will have to think too much (during the game). 2. As I recall, Tim Duncan (pf) was matched up with Dwight Howard (Center). Chris Bosh (pf) was matched up with Dwight Howard (Center). Do you see other teams changing their match ups in the front court against the new-look Magic. Do you foresee matchup problems for other teams?

  25. When Juan Howard played for the Magic, instead of banging under the basket, he stood away from the basket with a dazed look on his face--like he had not fully awaken from his nap (before the game)
