Jameer needs to sit down!!!! We were playing well until Stan sent Dwight and Jameer back in.

  3. This is the 2nd night in a row that Dwight grabs a rebound and the opponent takes the ball from out of his hands. The team is beginning to look lost.

What sort of activities other than the commercials and community service? I forgot about Dwight's commercials. And who knows how much time is spent on community service? (Don't forget the movie Dwight made this past summer ala Shaq) Now, Apex, you know what I'm talking about...There is playing around and and then there is playing around *wink* ___________

You saw how he was pulling the Dwight and Jameer act of sitting on the bench laughing while we were losing.

    I Think Stan Heard You...and

At 6 p.m. tonight on WESH 2 news/sports, Stan acknowledged that the Magic has a big problem with our point guards defensively, but that we have a bigger problem with Dwight not getting help with rebounding. He said, "Something has to be done about it." Stan then shrugged his shoulders as to say that a player(s) is not going to like the shake up. (Note: He didn't use the words "shake up", but the comment about getting Dwight help sure sounds it). Do you think that Stan's been reading this board?

2nd All Star Vote returns: AI passes Carter. Hedo passes Lewis

So, in other words, AI received votes when his name appeared on the Western Conference ballots, and those votes were added to any votes he received after he joined the 76ers. Therefore, that gave him a leg up on other guards in the east.

2nd All Star Vote returns: AI passes Carter. Hedo passes Lewis

THE REASON AI HAS THE 2ND HIGHEST VOTES BEHIND DWADE --See the asterisk in front of AI's name under the title "EASTERN CONFERENCE" and the explanation at the bottom (bolded) quote: EASTERN CONFERENCE (Allstar Votes) Guards: Dwyane Wade (Mia) 1,314,215; *Allen Iverson (Phi) 635,084; Vince Carter (Orl) 554,779; ____________ * While Iverson appears among Western Conference guards on the paper ballot because he began the season with Memphis, his votes count towards the Eastern Conference guards due to his signing with Philadelphia Dec. 3. 19. quote: Originally posted by O-dub: I heard Van Gundy clearly say to the players during a timeout that they were walking up court and shooting the ball or passing once and shooting the ball. After the timeout, they continued to do exactly what the coach told them not to do. I hope these players aren't starting to tune out Van Gundy. It seems like he's doing his job but not getting the cooperation. I heard Stan say this too, O-dub. As a matter of fact, before I heard Stan say it, I was thinking the very same thing. I just don't understand this team. Some of it can be blamed on Stan for not running different plays, but basic stuff like pushing the ball up the court, passing the ball more (and less standing around watching one player) is on the players on the court. The problem with this team is too many big name stars or former stars...who are making big money... (and wannabe stars), and some of them want to be the star every night to make the highlight tape. So they just tune out Stan for their own selfish reasons, knowing Stan is not going to bench them, because they are making too much money to ride the pines. And, yes, I do have a problem with Jameer. I know he is returning from being injured, but if he can't push the ball up the court, then sit his behind down. I do remember that Dwight was benched or was called out by Stan once last season, and the next game he played a whole lot better.

When: Monday, December 21, 2009 Time: 7:00 p.m. Place: Amway Arena TV Coverage: Fox Sports Network (FSN) and NBA League Pass MAGIC STARTERS *STATUS ALERT:*Jameer Nelson Link: http://www.nba.com/magic/ JAZZ STARTERS ************************************************************************* Utah (16-11) at Orlando (20-7) MAGIC TEAM REPORT *Yahoo Sports* This is going to be a real test for veteran point guards Jason Williams and Anthony Johnson. It might be the last real test they get. The last time they played against Utah point guard Deron Williams -- earlier this month in Salt Lake City -- he made them look really old and really slow. Orlando plays host to Utah on Monday. Magic starter Jameer Nelson, who has missed the past four weeks after knee surgery, is expected back in the lineup Wednesday, leaving Williams and Johnson to get one more shot at budding star Deron Williams. It might not be pretty. Deron Williams had 32 points, 15 assists and eight rebounds when he led the Jazz to a victory over the Magic, negating a season-high 34 points from Vince Carter. The Magic have struggled against the Jazz in the past. In franchise history, they hold only an 11-10 edge in Orlando, and they trail 14-7 in games in Salt Lake. The last time they met, the Jazz snapped the Magic's team-record eight-game road winning streak, riding the hot-hand of Deron Williams. Although Jason Williams and Johnson have more than held their own in the absence of Nelson, the Magic are anticipating his return, hoping he can bring more consistency to their sometimes erratic play. When Nelson returns, Williams is expected to return to his role as a backup, and Johnson is likely to go back to his role as insurance in case anything goes wrong. Nelson missed the second half of last season when the Magic marched all the way to the NBA Finals without him, yet he was given back his role as a starter when this season began. MAGIC 92, TRAIL BLAZERS 83: The Magic held a 54-35 rebound advantage and rode their inside game to a tough victory over the pesky Blazers, who often used three- and four-guard lineups. The Magic got 20 rebounds, six blocked shots and 12 points from center Dwight Howard. Rashard Lewis had 15 points and six rebounds. J.J. Redick had 12 points in reserve. The Magic (20-7) became the third Eastern Conference team to crack the 20-victory mark. Rotation: Starters
