This game is ugly!!!

If this team could remember how to score points like they at the beginning of the season against better teams, this game against the bulls should be approaching blowout status.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the scoreboard was giving points to the wrong team.

In these past few games the Magic are playing/look like the Washington Generals who play the Harlem Globetrotters.

Gordon and DJ were the only 2 driving to the basket. Everybody else is settling for jumpers.

They are paying tribute to Legendary Broadcaster Craig Sager. Other teams' coaches and the TNT guys Charles Barkley, Shaq, Kenny. . .did the same last night.

Do you honestly think I am going to conform to the way you and some others want me to in order to avoid the down votes? It sounds like a dictatorship to me. You obviously don't know me. ^^^This. I had not been on the TBN message boards for several weeks. Then on yesterday, Monday, I decided to check in to see if there was any news related to the Magic. I clicked on this thread, and what did I see? . .a member of this forum had quoted me from comments I made about LeBron 3 MONTHS AGO(April, 2018). It was ML6 who brought the subject up quoting me not once, but twice. But No, I was the one to get down voted several times for answering back. If this is not cyber bullying, I don't know what else to call it. Carry On!!!

WHAT ABOUT THE TEACHERS???????? I find it amazing that some of you people are giving all this praise to LeBron James for having a school built for 4th and 5th graders which will serve only a small population of students in Akron, Ohio. But not once have I seen a post thanking the hundreds of thousands of teachers in this country who spend countless hours in the classroom and outside the classroom, working toward the betterment of our young people. Teachers salaries are a drop in the bucket compared to what LeBron earns--and might I add, many of them have to work a second job to make ends meet--and yet many of them (including myself) use their pay to purchase supplies (outside of a budget) to pay for materials to use in the classroom. Many teachers work after hours, on weekends, and during the summer, attending workshops (and don't receive overtime pay) to enhance the knowledge of the subject matter in which they teach in order to bring their students up to speed and be able to use what they have learned in life. I remember a female teacher where I worked rode a bicycle to school every day because she could not afford a car. She also rode that bicycle to a part-time job after school. Teachers have to deal with more than learning styles, but also attitudes and poor behavior. I know! As I have mentioned before, I am a retired teacher. BTW: I wonder if the teachers who work at LeBron's school will see the benefits of LeBron's millions in their paycheck.

ML6 reference: Oh wow! ML6 revisited my post from 3 months ago to make a point that really is not important to be worthy of attention. First of all, news about this new school that LeBron had built surfaced recently. Secondly, the school is for 4th and 5th graders only. I have not read the specifics, but what we are looking at is a private or charter school. I don't think every 4th and 5th grader in Akron will be attending this school. Even if there are other charter schools in Akron, it will not be enough to serve or give a signicant number of kids the proper education and put them on the right track. What about the other kids in higher grades who need to get a fire lit under them so that they can be motivated in knowing that no matter what their situation is right now, there is hope. Those upper level students need help NOW. Perhaps, and I say Perhaps, it will not be too late for those kids to think about getting training or skills that would allow them is get a decent job, attend a community college or a technical school to get specialized training for a future career to keep them off the streets. I don't know if you know anything about Akron, Ohio where LeBron is from. Well I do know that it is like Cleveland, Ohio where I visited a relative who use to live there, and I have seen the poor conditions that a large population of blacks live in. I have seen the schools that these kids attend that are run down. I'm not saying that LeBron can or should save the world, but we are talking about a school for a small segment of students. As the other kids who are not being served in the city of Akron might say, . . ."WHAT ABOUT US"!? Thanks Rock Legends. I know that he didn't look like a new guy just entering the NBA. Hey! . . .as some mentioned last night, most of the Phoenix SL participants played for the Suns last year. I remember checking out Phoenix message board when Elfrid was traded to the Suns, and last night I remembered seeing many of them playing in games last year . Who did the Magic have that played for us last year? Isaac, Iwandu (sp?) . . .who else? With the addition of Cooley and Ayton, and a few other good shooters, it makes sense that the Suns were the better team last night.

I. . .know! Other than Bamba and Isaac, those little guys running around out there last night (trying to impress) cause some concern for me too. Who is this Cooley guy that played for the Suns last night. Man, was he a handful.

Nothing personal, but some of you scare me. Wanting something negative to happen to someone, as you suggested, magicdoc1, could have a devestating impact on the former TBN member you're talking about. There is nothing to prevent him from reading comments on this message board. But as I said before, we don't know anyone's mental state. And even if he has no way of firing back at any of us, just think about what has happened in this country when a deranged person walks into a building and takes out innocent lives. I was really worried about the way he started responding to every comment made by posters on this forum. Please, let's leave this alone. We are living in different times.

Me too. I like Briscoe's aggressiveness, but he misses too many shots. I know, I know. . .Its only summer league.
