As I have been watching every game this season, I have noticed a change in our Pick N Roll defense. It seems as if we end up doubling the ball handler and leaving the roller (aka lamarcus aldridge, hibbert, haslem, ect.) open to shoot the jumpshot. Now I don't know if they are daring them to drive at Howard, or what....but this seems to be killing us. So anyways, I was just wondering if this was a lack of effort to cover the roller, is someone not picking up the roller? Or is this just the way stan wants the defense.

Lakers......Celtics......Spurs All three of these teams have something else in common besides a championship. When I mentioned those three teams, you had a feeling of history. A feeling of something magical, special, or LEGENDARY. If you mentioned any other team like the Timberwolves or the Nets......you feel nothing--well maybe nothing but pity. I have been a Tragic..er..Magic fan for as long as I can remember. This greater feeling that associates with the basketball Holy Trinity has never been linked. But why should it? For the most part our front office management has been sub-par, the majority of our players never had true character, and our fans were spoiled with instant success. Sure our team has been improving for the past 5 years, in fact, our team has been great for the prior 3. However, a feeling of this magnitude has always been absent in orlando......Until Now. Some could say the recent free agent acquisitions have left an overinflated opinion of our team's current structure. Sure, it could be of my biased opinion towards Dwight Howard and JJ Redick (ok...not really but the dude has awesome hair). But remove everyone on this team besides Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson, Rashard Lewis, and Vince "Half Amazing" Carter. I still feel an aurora of Magic. Between the motivation, leadership, experience, athleticism, and character....I truly feel that Magic fans everywhere are apart of something greater than anything else this game has witnessed. The Dynasty Is Coming...Are We Ready For It?

holy crap a line up of Nelson Carter Lewis Bosh Howard.... thats insane... and I thought we had the best lineup this year...

With the recent signings, I think it is safe to say this is becoming the most hyped season in magic history....and training camp hasnt even started! But with Gortat being signed....and with a major contract...I dont see him just playing ten minutes a game. In fact I see him being either a back up center and powerforward... so basically I see it like this Nelson/AJ V.C/JJ Rashard/Pietrus Bass/Gortat/Anderson Howard/ Gortat Stan has said he loves anderson....dwight loves anderson....where the f@%k is he going to play??? (granted I know he has a high probabiblity of being traded)

I watched the games with my dad when I was in diapers....so i guess you could say I was born a magic fan. But to be honest I first started understanding the game and enjoying it (by both watching and playing it, around 2006.) Now I am obsessed with the games...havent missed a single game in three seasons...., and I am obsessed with these messageboards

Our team, in terms of management and ownership has the taste of the finals embedded in their brains. We no longer are trying to make a profit (like we were anyways), we are going full strength to win this thing. Otis removes 1/4 of our team with a little bit of youth, strength, star power, and most of all...depth! But you can only do so much.... in the end its the mindset of our players, that will either make us or break us.... How do we get them to have the mindset of champions?
