  4. Gente please... calm down.
  5. Point guard Arroyo thinks it's time for him to start again By Tim Buckley HOUSTON
  6. The trade should be an important one for the Pistons. They have been thin at the point guard position since letting Mike James leave in free agency this summer. Billups and Hunter are really combo guards, so a true point guard should help the team. Utah's decision to dump Arroyo so quickly is surprising, even given his major falling-out with Jerry Sloan this month. Arroyo has gained a solid rep throughout the league thanks to his play last season and in the Olympics, and he was drawing rave reviews from Sloan in camp for his improvement. "Carlos looks very good," Sloan told Insider in October. "He's much better than he was a year ago. He's in better shape. He's more confident. ... He came ready to compete, and I think he's capable of having a big year." What a difference a few months -- plus a preseason injury and Keith McLeod's breakout season -- make. The team seemed to play with more energy when McLeod was in the game. Combine that with what Sloan believed to be Arroyo's questionable work ethic and attitude since his return, and maybe it was inevitable that the two were heading for divorce court. As for Campbell, expect the Jazz to waive him immediately. Under current rules, only the Bobcats and Nets have the cap room or trade exceptions to pick Campbell up off waivers. If Campbell were to clear waivers, the Pistons would be free to pick him up.

I feel sorry for him".

"We've had no substantive conversations with anybody about trading Carlos Arroyo," said Kevin O'Connor, senior vice president of basketball operations for the 13-24 Jazz. "Have I talked to a lot of people about a lot of things? Yeah," O'Connor added. "And names have come up. Carlos' name's come up. Everybody's name comes up on our roster. When you lose, that happens. And you look to improve yourself." Most Popular Articles O'Connor, however, bristled at an Internet report that earlier this week falsely suggested Arroyo had already been traded. "It's not fair to Carlos," he said. "It's not fair to us." A report in Wednesday's Detroit Free Press said the Jazz recently spoke with the Detroit Pistons regarding a potential trade involving Arroyo, but that very same report suggested such a swap is unlikely. According to the Free Press: "A rumor saying that the Pistons are interested in Utah point guard Carlos Arroyo may be true, but the sides would likely be unable to work out a trade. The two sides talked a week to 10 days ago, but Arroyo signed a four-year contract worth a reported $16 million last July, and there aren't a lot of players on the Pistons' roster that the Jazz covet other than starters." Asked if he had engaged in substantive conversations with the Pistons regarding Arroyo, O'Connor's response was curt: "Nothing." Nonetheless, Arroyo, now in his third season with the Jazz, is frustrated.

  11. Baya baaaya...
  12. Carlos is out, like it or not... cause very player wants to be starter and money talks too, it's fact. Plus isn't good to be a backup of another backup and being even Dooling (who doesn't run a team is in front of him )? IMHO Carlos already has his mind done.

The Magic WILL NOT Make a Trade!!!

Faux... like it or not, I have to agree with you at some extent.Carlos fans need to pray for Carlos to be traded in order to get playing time since Otis did fall in love afair with Jameer.Otherwise, your comment about squiter ,ect... made you look like a hurt feeling fan whom needs to atack Carlos and company. My personal opinion is Carlos best thing to happen is being a free agent and choose the team who really needs him ( and there are some around ) plus that team will pay Carlos maybe more than what he is earning right now, maybe if he is lucky he can find out somebody as dummy as Otis Smith is and will receive 35mil./5 year contrat LOL. There is no other lover in the nba like Otis LOL
