If not, then perhaps we make a run at Billups. My only issue with him is his age and the amount of money it will take to sign him.

The others on that list do little to warm my bones.

One last guy to consider: Andre Miller. Philly surely would want Jameer, and we surely could use a guy who knows how to pass. Perhaps we could trade Jameer and Hedo for Andre and one of their later first round picks.

I think the andre miller jameer trade might do wonders.. doesnt miller lead the league in assists?

  7. i posted this in anopther thread but i think it got overlooked becasue that one was moving hella fast

Are you telling me that he did not know what kind of buzz he was putting out there when he contrasted two oposing point of views with different age brackets?

I think he did imply that we wernt real fans if we were young and only watched games on purpose to make us become more vocal as fans because thats all he can do to create changes.

You cant initiate a presidential or congress change untill someone makes a stance on one side of the fence, distincly revealing the oposite.

i think the movie "The American President" says this sentiment the best...

Lewis Rothschild: People want leadership, Mr. President, and in the absence of genuine leadership, they'll listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone. They want leadership. They're so thirsty for it they'll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there's no water, they'll drink the sand.

Mike Bianchis is the only one doing the talking in the media... i think because of that other people are picking up the call...

  9. Im not sure where to post this but i think this might be a good spot..

I read some articles today interviewing the bobcats (as most magic fans probably have) but i found these two statements tha made me think ..

"We shared the ball so well," Anderson said. "We didn't hold it a whole lot, we didn't run a lot of isos (isolation plays for any one player)."

    and in another article:

"A key was in how Primoz Brezec defended Dwight Howard, even as Howard finished with game-highs of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Without Okafor (strained calf), Brezec and backup center Jake Voskuhl took turns defending the Eastern Conference All-Star. And they did so primarily without help from their teammates.

Strange, I've would have never guessed. To me your views never suggested that as long as I've been here.

I guess what your saying is over the last 30 days youve been here FENDI sounded like an avid jameer supporter??

here are some of his quotes:

    quote:
But my best bet would be if we trade Jameer, we could get a pretty good pick in return. Sure, Jameer is untouchable, but up to what point? The only untouchable on this team is Dwight. Lottery picks would really cost us, Jameer might be a road to acquiring one though.

    quote:
I wouldn't like to say this but I think one of the best ways to improve this team is by trading Jameer.

    quote:
I don't see Jameer being the point guard who'd bring us to the finals. Jameer has that taking-over mentality but he can't do it everytime.

    quote:
I do believe that Jameer can score at will, but the fact that he's pretty small, some times a liability on defense, and tends to shoot the ball even when he passes by an open teammate don't really help much at all. Sadly, Jameer doesn't have what it takes to dominate a basketball game. and that is what exactly seperates the all-stars with the superstars

    quote:
And, really I agree with him. Nelson is becoming this "take-over" guy, but he forces things. For one instance, we were down by around 20 (tonight), just when we were making a run, he throws up a wild lob-pass to Dwight. Man, that wasn't even an open lane, and sum it all up, why try to go for an alley-oop when we're down? Jameer also relaxes a lot of defense.

These are just a few he has made since last year... read up a little first...

I'd like to know who is this 90 to 95 % of fans you guys talk about...

Is It the few hundred you deal with or...Is it out of the 30 to 40,000 fans that are in the MAGIC NATION?
