good post weetzo very thoughtful about the point of not changing managements mind but informing the public that a "minority opinion" wasnt just a minority even though the media always made it seem like we were ones or twosies and not the majority.

Sam Vincent Says Magic Never Contacted Him

ok junkie man i didnt get a chace to meet you at the get together and i didnt get to meet you at the playoff game so i dont really know your personality, but it seems to me that if you think this thru all the magic media has to do is say that they were promoting brian hill, brian knew about it but he could not say anything, he was also helping out with the possible coaches and interviewing with them, then just blame the media for spinning it into a bad thing when "brian really wanted a management position with us so we accomadated his wishes", of course they'll play the PR card and say that since he is an important part of this community there wasn't any doubt as to him "fullfilling his contractual obligations" He also recommended our new coach sam vincent and has his full support. With tha type of spin it will nullify any negative opinion produced over the last two weeks... I rarely respon to one of your threads junkie because i have to type so darn much when i do!!! lol

You have a link?? i've never seen it

man that doesnt matter even though what they post says that... you have to divide the total percentage by how many tries for the average possibilty they have in the draft. .. If you can find another website that explains why you add up each percentage and that would give you an overall chance of 42 percent to get a top 3 spot then i will believe they are wrong... If you add up everyones chance on that board there is 300%!!!! how can that be so what they are saying is that they have a 42.34% chance out of 300%!!! that doesnt make sense...

Omg i cant see how they get those numbers... There is no way that atlanta has almost 2 out 5 chance of getting one of the top 3 picks...

quote: Originally posted by Hutchence:ummm, not exactly In 1876 the Bible student Charles Taze Russell contributed the article "Gentile Times: When Do They End?" to the Bible Examiner, published in Brooklyn, New York, which said on page 27 of its October issue, "The seven times will end in A.D. 1914." The Gentile Times is the period referred to in another Bible translation as "the appointed times of the nations." (Luke 21:24) Not all that was expected to happen in 1914 did happen, but it did mark the end of the Gentile Times and was a year of special significance. Many historians and commentators agree that 1914 was a turning point in human history. The following quotations illustrate this: "The last completely 'normal' year in history was 1913, the year before World War I began."

Jehovah's Witnesses have been around for much longer than most think. Yeah hutch in cali my old boss of 6 years was a JW... just from memeory i think it was the 1880'c charles Taze Russell founded them. He was a 7-day adventist but didnt like there doctrine of hell... he was there leader unitl about 1920 when he passed away. Also he said that christs return was going to happen in 1914 and it didnt so they said 1925 and it didnt then 1975 and after that one now they say that those were important they just interpreted them wrong.. so now they say that in 1914 Christ allegedly returned invisibly and became king in 1914 to a future event associated with his judging mankind at the Battle of Armageddon. Then judge rutherford took over changed their name to JW's around the 40's and started focusing on increasing their numbers. so all in all they have been around 130+ years but only about 70+ in there current form.

Because they are only drawn one at a time there percntage only goes up as the balls get taken out and the pot gets smaller. There is no median chance if that is what your posting. Lets add it up one more time using the calculation above. If there are three drawings that mean atlanta has a total (i'm adding up all three chances as you did) 357 balls out of 2301 Tries that equals 15.5% chance they got to get one of those 3 pics...lol do you own math you cant just add up percentages...you have to divide by 3 if you add up you 12% and 16% and 22%

I was actually quoting a verse in the bible that talks about every person has seen what god has wrought. 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities

in response to the COBE mission it supports the theory that god created the universe from nothing... "Science is often seen as attacking the God of the Bible, but in this case scientific discoveries seem to be revealing God's work. The Bible begins with the statement that God created the heavens and the earth, leaving no doubt that all we see had a beginning and had a Creator. But by the 1700s many people accepted an earlier theory that Immanuel Kant made more popular. The theory held that the universe is an infinite expanse with no beginning and no end. This fit the philosophy of the time, as people did not want to think that they might have to face judgment by a God who had the power to both begin and end the universe. In the roaring twenties, Edwin Hubble had begun to investigate mysterious masses of stars called nebulae. Some thought we were all part of one giant galaxy; others thought there might be a whole world of galaxies outside our own. Hubble was able to show that there are many galaxies besides our own. In 1929 he announced we were in a huge universe, so big it would take light billions of years to travel across it. Not only was it immense, but every part was moving away from every other part at incredible speeds, some receding at 100 million miles an hour! Science, by its very nature, attempts to find the best explanation for observed phenomena. But the Big Bang has drawn an impenetrable curtain across the stage of history. For some this is a frustration: "This view of the origin of the universe is thoroughly unsatisfactory . . . . [because] the origin of the Big Bang itself is not susceptible to discussion," fumes the editor of Nature.(5) But for others, the very impossibility of going behind the creation points to God in a powerful way. "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they (all humans) are without excuse" (Rom. 1:20)."

That would not make him omnipotent and so he could not be god. if the bible was full of error it would have been disproved long ago... For example, in Genesis (6:19,20; 7:2; and 7:8,9) God tells Noah to take two of every animal onto the Ark, then tells him to take seven, and finally there are only two on the Ark. Also, when did Jesus ascend to Paradise? According to Luke, on the first day. In John, no, not till two days later. I will try to answer these two first then move on to the others, Did Jesus ascend to Paradise the same day of the crucifixion? (a) Yes. He said to the thief who defended him, "Today you will be with me in Paradise" (Luke 23:43). (B) No. He said to Mary Magdalene two days later, "I have not yet ascended to the Father" (John 20:17). A: Apocryphal literature shows that the audience Jesus spoke to, the Jews, understood there to be two compartments in the afterlife: prison and paradise. Paradise, also called Abraham

The Bible is a combination of books written by many different authors, complied over a long period of time. To say that there were no errors and that the books that were ultimately left out are meaningless seems wrong.
