Devin Harris via a trade? He is a back-up right now and nearing the end of his rookie deal ... meaning Dallas will have to pay up and go further into luxury tax land OR trade him. He is tall (6'3'') and seems very quick. Anyone know more about him???

1. Resign Darko (7-8 mil/yr ... Wilcox money). 2. Fire Brian Hill (Hire Adelman or Iavaroni). 3. Somehow get a new starting pg (Can we afford to gamble with Jameer at the helm for another year? .... Please no). 4. Somehow get a new starting sg (or get a tall enough pg so JJ can start). 5. Somehow get a back-up big. It will be interesting to see if we trade Hedo or Trevor this summer. Hey, at least Hedo and Darko are ballin' right now, which actually gives us a lot more options in the trade market this summer.

These things are true: 1. Jameer over-dribbles, is turnover prone, and has poor shot selection ... especially in 4th quarters. 2. Hedo cannot dribble the ball well and sometimes freezes ... especially in 4th quarters. 3. Dwight is turnover prone and a free-throw brick master ... especially in 4th quarters. Are THESE THINGS Brian's fault? At this point, I don't think so. Instead, I place the blame on these 3 players for their lack of mental toughness, lack of skill, etc. We have a serious personnel problem (pg and sg position) and are simply young and inexperienced. So back to the thread topic: Would Phil do better with this team? Hmmm ... probably ... but not by much, imo. Interesting post, Junkie.

I think Tim is just going off that NJ article from around 8 days ago. His comments are almost identical = bad journalism (he should give the paper credit). Did he quote Carter or anyone? More poor Sentinel reporting, imo. Anyway, I am not worried. After hearing Otis the other day (season tix holder chat), he said we will be very aggressive in acquiring a go-to guy this summer ... either via fa, trades, etc. Keep the faith.

Man, I thought he gave some really good feedback: 1. We are going to be aggressive in free agency ... by going after a go-to scorer (mentioned several times). Said we need a sg or sf who can "manufacture" points and take over games. Interestingly, he barely talked about resigning Darko. Hmmm. 2. He really called out Jameer by saying our pg is 2nd on the team in turnovers (after Dwight) and we are last in the league in turnovers as a team... partly due to Jameer's [poor] play. 3. He said a lot can/will happen to our roster via free agency, trades, the draft, etc. He also said we will be trying hard to get in the 1st round this year. Honestly, I thought the questions (all asked by season ticket holders) were really pointed questions. He was both truthful and appropriate for this time of year.
