This trade works: Louis Amundson Andre Miller for Marcin Gortat Jameer Nelson J.J. Redick Pat Garrity This would give us a true PG for the next year and a half and clear us of Jameer's contract.
-
I'm all for trading Jameer, though I believe it will be nearly impossible this year b/c of his PPP.

Trevor Ariza's Foot Problems Re-Surface In LA
Soul Bro replied to BRich's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
What's up with the Magic signing players with messed up feet? Grant's ankles and feet, after all his surgeries, have been described as "oatmeal," by an inside source. Trevor must have some funky-colemedina treads, too, as he keeps getting hurt. Now there is lil' Meer, with his day-to-day "foot" problem. What gives? -
Went to college in Wheaton, IL. What is there in the Dirrrty South? Near KY?
-
I badly want Hinrich. His value right now is very low and it would be a perfect time to scoop him up. His contract is interesting in that I believe it descends as time progresses. He is a tall, good pg. To me, he is much better all around than Nelson. Unfortunately, we probably can't move Nelson right now b/c of his PPP. Perhaps we could move him this summer? Anyway, I would love to get Hinrich and Thomas. That would give us more great, young talent for the future.
-
Allstarme, where you at in Illinois?
-
Allstarme, I think it would take more to get Thomas.
-
I'm all for it. Too bad they don't need Turk.

Trevor Ariza's Foot Problems Re-Surface In LA
Soul Bro replied to BRich's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Remember this article and thread: "The whispers out of Orlando are that the ex-Knick has structural foot problems that will eventually catch up with him." http://orlandomagiczone.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/88910298...321011064#9321011064 Looks like Otis made a wise, not a dumb, move by trading Trevor. -
I like Mo starting.
-
If this is true, Otis did own Riley.

Evans and Cook - Are they an answer ?

I think Stan was talking in the present, which is now the past. I love Evans' game. He just knows how to play. -
Battie could return for play-offs - Schmitz
Soul Bro replied to jack daniel 999's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Detroit tends to school this whole team. This team needs 4 solid bigs. Right now we might have 2. Battie brings a solid defensive and veteran presence that we need. Ideally, however, we find a way to get Haslem. He can defend inside and outside the paint, hit the open jumper, and rebound. I'm told we are eyeing his situation very closely. -

Both looked fantastic last night. Are they "the answer?" Not sure. -

I've had the exact surgery Battie had. He absolutely should/could be ready by April. My guess is he is already in the weight room, believe it or not, and fully conditioning. -

The Pistons have been kinda struggling lately, so they could look to make that change. I'm all for bringing him in. I wish we would have pursued this initially instead of taking on Brian Cook's contract. I've got to say that I LOVED Cook's play tonight. IMHO, he might have been our best player in the first half. Hopefully, he brings that every night and makes his contract a value rather than a lead weight. -

Solution, good point. I fully expect for Webber to start and Shard to go back to SF if he is signed. Birdies chirp and people talk, you know. -

He can, however, rebound, shoot, and pass. Here are his career stats: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?statsId=1272 Perhaps most importantly, he knows the Pistons. -

Otis is playing everyone. Ever heard the phrase, "Buyers are liars?" Of course Webber is in the cards. He is a Hall of Fame big with great passing and rebounding abilities that could be had for cheap. Junkie, can you call Webber's house or something? -

As to the trade, I'm not too high on it b/c neither player has proven to be consistent year-to-year. -
