Solution, thx. I actually used to work in your neck of the woods with Northland.

Erik, that is great. What a change from last year when you asked us for help.

I don't support players I support the team. Dwight is an exception. I try to support our players and the team. Hence, this thread. Hopefully, Cook, along with the rest of our team, can turn it around on Sunday.

That is too funny! No, I actually work with souls in that I am a pastor and counselor. Hence, the name.
-
Erik, no, I live in CT. Why? Is there another Soul?

Solution, given that you are implicitly implying that you are a "true Magic fan," which players do you actually support?

Hey Soul Bro, echo4papa, Jareth Cutestory, and you other true Magic fans, the Lakers castoffs were 2 for 8 and 1 rebound. Tell us about how Cook had 0 rebounds and helped us tonight. I'm all ears. Like Kberto said,"don't hurt yourself to badly when you jump off that bandwagon". Your post answers the question, Solution. I have to add that Shard's night was a beauty to behold, too. Seriously, I loved our team's effort following that awful 1st quarter. Go Magic!

I am the Ex. Director of a Xian non-profit organization. Marc, do you deal with TPS reports?
-
Depth, I would do that trade. We essentially get a starter and a back-up for two back-ups and two guys that can't break the rotation.

Anyway, I am not criticizing you as I find this type of posts an interesting read because it COULD be for real. Also, if I may add. I have been reading forums for a while now, nearly 5 years to be exact. So I pretty much know who has inside information. As I have shared in the chat room a while back, Otis is said to be still high on Fran. In fact, the sign and trade deal for Shard happened because he didn't want to renounce the rights for Fran Vazquez, which as we all know, his "salary" affects our cap during the offseason. So do you think this guy has a real "insider source" or not?

Interesting stuff. Hopefully, we end up with Haslem.

We need much better and more consistent pg play to be an elite team. -
COOKIE MONSTER!!!
-
Kudos to Mo, too. I really like how our team is playing right now.

Brian Cook, plain and simple. He is playing great basketball and has allowed SVG to set a firm rotation. Our wins have come with him being the first forward off the bench and he has produced: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?statsId=3727 In January, he is averaging 8.6 ppg and 2.8 rpg in 15 mpg while shooting 50% from three and 51.6% from the field. Those are awesome numbers off the bench. In addition, his defense has been above average. Kudos to him for kicking it up a few notches, kudos to Otis for believing in him, and kudos to SVG for riding him hard and demanding more. Here's to his new-found production continuing.

Who should be the PG starter against the Pistons?

We need to play only two pgs. -

I'm with dav on this one. I don't want Nelson back until he is fully recovered. -
I think Stan was right about Cook..
Soul Bro replied to God hates Magic fans's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Agreed. I really like the job SVG has done. -
When Nelson returns, what do we do with him?

He can play the 3 and the 4. He is feisty and can shoot. Put it this way, he would be a major upgrade over Cook.

I like what Legler wrote. If possible, without giving up Hedo, Rashard, or Dwight, I would trade for a taller, proven pg. Here are some that fit the category that might be available in a trade: Andre Miller, Kirk Hinrich, and Jason Kidd. If we had any of these pgs running the show, we would be a much better and more consistent team.
